July 23, 201214 yr Anybody see Auburn's Coach on ESPN this morning. The discussion was about a 2 QB race this summer........read into it what you want. Is one of the two a freshman? If it is a race between two upper classmen, that is not relevant to Pike IMO.

Pike was already clearly number 3 at best in this competition, even before this last issue. Even is he was (or is) still there this statement would probably be true, so it's not really relevant.

July 25, 201214 yr If this were true, wouldn't he be at Ark St practicing? I have seen him and his vehicle everyday this past week. Still "working things out" in NKY.

Yeah, one would think if he is transferring it would be a done deal by now and he would be at workouts. Still listed on AU's roster but don't know how up to date it is.
July 27, 201214 yr Just got off the phone with a very reliable source who said the offensive coordinator for a certain Big Ten school just had his phone blown up with texts from one Mr. Pike. Word I am getting is he wants to go there bad. Thats all I can share at this time.

I think he would lose a year.
July 27, 201214 yr Hmmm ... Purdue ... interesting. Man you are quick VOR. I have also heard that Daddy is trying to get him in at Ga Tech as well but a friend said that their coach is a formal Naval officer and probably wont put up with any crap. They also run the option which means he wouldnt play QB. Any outlaw programs out there?
