Romney, Obama and Bain

Featured Replies

Are you the only person that doesn't know this?
The claim is he was at Bain in 1999 when Bain shipped numerous jobs overseas. He denies that.

Seems your the only person that "know" this. Well you and Obama apparently.

Just the Obama way.. Attack and discredit. He did it during his senate campaigns and has continued it during his last campaigns. Any tactic to draw the media away from his dismal record. Obama has gained plenty by GE's massive outsourcing of jobs.

Very true. But it isn't just the Obama way, it is the way of today's politics. No one likes the way political campaigns are run today. Unfortunately, it works. As much as we complain about all the negativism, more often than not we vote for the candidate we dislike the least, versus voting for a candidate we actually like. It is hard to like anyone in politics in these times.

When a candidate runs that I actually like I will be sure to vote for them. Until then I'm stuck with the lesser of 2 evils.
RTS using CNN as supporting evidence? Surely my eyes deceive me!
 It's harder for the "lefties" to dismiss it. :D

I like your style, and completely agree.

Unfortunately that's often the way it is. Lesser of two evils rather than the better of two greats.

So you have no problem with GE outsourcing more jobs during Obamas term than Bain ever did ?

I'm fairly confident that you won't find me supporting outsourcing anywhere on here.

My friends LN and Hoops seem to be the folks on here supporting outsourcing.

Although I would probably call it "insourcing."

Would you consider this "in-sourcing" or out-sourcing: GE signs Myanmar deals after US eases sanctions - Yahoo! News

Agreed. That's my point exactly. In almost every national and state level race for sure, we all are voting for the lesser of two evils because negative campaigning rules.

I just find it ironic that we were all suppose to ignore Obama's past in the 2008 election but Romney's is fair game.

Not saying that I'm a huge supporter of outsourcing. Just agreeing with LN that many staunch criticizers should realize that the door swings both ways.
