July 15, 201214 yr IF this team gets to the playoffs, I think they have a much better chance than they did in 2010 because their pitching has been so good. If they even show up a little bit offensively they can go deep. I agree with that big time. They're actually 1 player either a leadoff hitter or a power hitter away from being the favorite in the NL unless the Phillies sneak in or th Cards get a lot more healthy IMO.

July 15, 201214 yr Never saw the game but saw the replay and the amazing thing about Ludwick's HR was that it was on a breaking ball. He went down and got it. Agreed. He has been missing that pitch by a foot all year. Great AB by Ludwick and amazing that he yanked that breaking ball out of the park.

He has 0 HRs and 1 run scored and 1 RBI in his last 10 games. This could turn out to be the thing that the Reds can't have happen the 2nd half.
