July 23, 201214 yr Author Being I always seem to share the good, the bad and the ugly I share this with all of you. Dumped five days before the 3rd anniversary of my sons death. How did I handle it. A-Beating the crap out of who I blame? b-Getting plastered and playing sappy ole heartbreak songs? For those who guess B, you are correct. But I wanted to do choice A, but knew that would not fix anything. Thanks GOD for football season being so close.

August 17, 201214 yr Author I have been afraid(for lack of a better statement)to update this. My lady has been here with me in Ohio for two weeks and one day. We are getting along great and have started the process of doing the things needed for us to be able to get married. The first week was hard on here because she was letting the text messages from the her ex-boyfriend, of six years get to her and from others who were mad at her, for moving away. I Have never been this happy before and though I feel a little guilty about feeling so good being my son is dead and gone and I am still here. I think the part of me who still feels I failed him as a father will always be there, but I know in my heart he would want this for me. To those of you who read these type post from me and throw words of encouragement to me I can never express how much they mean to me.

And I am of the opinion everyone needs somebody close to them to share it with, someone to make the bad days a little better when you get home and someone to take the good days and turn them into great days. I know your son would want you to be happy and wouldn't want you to feel guilty about it. Here's to you living a life of happiness with the woman you love from this day forward and enjoying it to the fullest.
