October 27, 201213 yr Author Today we agreed to end our relationship. I dropped her off at the bus station in Columbus and she will be on her way back to North Carolina shortly. We left by telling each other that we loved the other. Was one of those cases when love wasn't enough. As for me I can say the pain hurts almost as much as it did when my son killed himself.

NCF - You have to know that you have value and qualities, as well as something to share with the world. We know you well enough to know that you DO have all of those things. But you have to find peace within yourself before a relationship will work. Don't expect someone to "complete you." That's all hogwash! You have to be complete and happy with yourself...and that means not beating yourself up or hanging your future on the hook of the past. Just keep looking forward and take care of YOU for right now.
