Yeah they put it in last year and apparently took it away this year because it has the chance to take away some of the best pitchers. I don't know what you don't understand. On the selection show they talked about them not replacing players like they did last year. I assume they are more in the 'know' then you are.

Never once heard them say that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if any players get replaced other than Kemp.
July 1, 201214 yr Personal past history should have nothing to do with it. You take the best players. How much of this falls on BP's hotdogging style? He is not a popular player amongst other teams. If the other players had voted him in this would not be an issue. Custom definitely should have been on the team. Let me ask you this, however: If Baker were in LaRussa's place and the pitchers were Carpenter and Cueto and Carpenter had the better numbers do you think he would pick him, ir his own guy with 10 wins and very good overall numbers?
