Alcohol issues and the Chicago Bulls Challenge

This should be interesting. Right now we have HT, MJ, UKMF, and I keeping track from July 1 on. Anyone else in?

I just want to state that at this point in my career, I'm not exactly going for a winning record haha!

However, in saying that, I'm currently above .500 with a 3-2 record.

I'm in. And I'll state that I am in purely for documentation sake and not for victory.

I am currently 1-5. I am already counting today's loss. I'll be drinking at 3pm.

I'm currently 2-3 with a most assured win coming today, and the next 7-8 days all being surefire losses while I'm at the beach. It's not about how you start, but how you finish, right? :D

I'm the same way w/ cigarettes. Never touched them. The smell was just too much to even think about it.

I never really minded the smell of cigarette smoke, but I never tried cigarettes either. Again, the thought of cigarettes never appealed to me, plus I knew it was bad for my health.

The thought of drinking alcohol never appealed to me. I didn't like the effect it had on other people. I just never had any desire to try it. It doesn't always work, but I try to learn from other people's mistakes, and not my own. Plus, while I have never had a drink of alcohol, I have smelled alcohol and find it repulsive.

Sounds to me like you've been around a bunch of dummies who had grandma and mom in their ears telling them fallacious stories about how no one can control themselves while drinking.

Oh well, more sweet, delicious beer and whiskey for me!

I should go ahead and chalk up 2 or 3 losses for the amount I'm going to drink tomorrow.

If you're still drinking after midnight, should that count as a loss for the next day? Just trying to make sure I'm as accurate as possible.

Believe it or not, I used my own brain, eyes and common sense to come to these conclusions. If something doesn't interest you, why try it. Maybe you were subject to peer pressure. Only people I know with drinking problems have said anything about me not drinking. I chalked it up to misery loves company.

Without a doubt. That gives you two losses.

I am really not sure how it happened myself but I stand here at 5-0 right now. Last night was a hard fought victory.

Really? So if you're still drinking after midnight, it counts as two losses? Guess we are going by calendar days, not a problem just want to make sure I'm doing this right and keeping track the same way others are.

If that's the case my 3-2 record drops to 1-4...I'm not going to do as well as I thought I was haha!

You wasted 2 days you already chalked up in the loss column. Bad management... :D

I'm also 1-4 now... I told ya, I'm gonna give the Bobcats a run for their money.

I thought my record would be decent, but not now. I'm pratically gaurenteed two losses before the week even starts!

That's the kind of idea that gets people into a lot of problems. It isn't "cool" to drink. Actually, it usually works out the other way around. I applaud him for being a responsible adult who isn't afraid to make his own choices. :thumb:
Will you be at a wedding Saturday in P-town?

No. In Louisville.
