mexitucky
Mex, do you think you can go thirty days straight without a drop of alcohol? I have gone on a 24 game winning streak. I am German Irish Catholic, so I am a small market club. It would be tough.
formerkywrestler
Tri training really cuts into mine. Pretty confident I could easily go 30 without it. However, if not training I'd probably have a drink 25 out of those 30 days. I like a beer with dinner and a glass of bourbon to unwind. However with all these workouts I pretty much just crash when I get home. Hell, I may be addicted to alcohol but I'm not sure and frankly I'm not that worried about it. I have however replaced that possible addiction with triathlons. But if I'm out to eat and there is a great draft list I am imbibing...
Randy Parker
I'll also add that if my wife told me to not drink for 30 days then you can believe I wouldn't. When Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Randy Parker
I should have said I wouldn't and not that I couldn't. Excellent point! Big difference between wouldn't & couldn't. Edited July 1, 2012 by PurplePride92 I misspelled 'not'

00Rocket28
I remember when I used to travel Tunica every Friday after work and stay all weekend literally playing poker 35 of the 48 or so hours. After doing this for like 9 months I was afraid I was addicted, so from that point on every few mo Thais take time off to make sure I wasn't addicted. Trying to see addiction in yourself is very hard to do...
MJAlltheWay24
I am doing it just to see my record. Started on July 1st, figured it was a good starting point... So far I'm 1-1.

UKMustangFan
I'd give the Bobcats a run for their money every year. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with wanting to unwind after a long day with an ice cold adult beverage or two.
HammerTime
I typically don't drink during the weekend unless I am out at dinner or watching a game at a bar. I make it for it on the weekend sometimes. I am 4-1 in July. Not bad.
