Alcohol issues and the Chicago Bulls Challenge

That's the kind of idea that gets people into a lot of problems. It isn't "cool" to drink. Actually, it usually works out the other way around. I applaud him for being a responsible adult who isn't afraid to make his own choices. :thumb:

Works the other way as well. Most of the people I know who don't drink tend to think of themselves as (for lack of a better word) better than those who do. Just a thought.

This should be interesting. Right now we have HT, MJ, UKMF, and I keeping track from July 1 on. Anyone else in?

I'll do it, but with the official objection that you have the wins and losses labeled exactly backwards. I'd also like to lodge a formal protest that we got this started right at the July 4 holiday.

That said, I'm 1-4 after five days and can state with absolute certainty that I'll be 1-7 when I wake up on Monday morning.

Without a doubt. That gives you two losses.

Well that's not fair. Chalk up at least 2 L's every weekend.

I second that objection!

Hey, you are drinking two days.

...this is not 'Nam...There are rules.

I see what you are saying. But the attitude that driking is evil and will lead to horrible things after one drink is a much bigger problem in my mind. The Reefer Madness mentality run amuck...
You wasted 2 days you already chalked up in the loss column. Bad management... :D
The MJ's might not make it to the ASB without a managerial change. :D

Next Saturday is undoubtedly going to be a loss for me but with the way my team is playing I'm not sure if I'll have another one before then.

0-5 so far. I probably shouldn't do this.

We may have to apply a "mercy" rule for you. :D

I never said drinking was evil. Most of my friends drink and I don't care if they drink responsibly. As long as it's legal I don't care. I have no moral, religious or other objections to alcohol. Now I have had people who tried to get me to drink. I just ask them why they try to get me to drink when I don't try to get them to stop. In short, alcohol does not interest me, therefore I choose not to do it.

No. In Louisville.

Gotcha, thought you'd be at a wedding here!

Because they are.

I just don't like the mentality that says if you don't drink there's something wrong with you -- as if it's some kind of weakness.
