June 13, 201214 yr This billboard popped up last weekend on Arthur Street in Louisville right by the athletic fields at UofL's Cardinal Park. Combine this with the nonsense on Twitter and the big to-do about there possibly being UK stickers inside the urinals at UofL's practice facility and we're really getting going here. It's not even the end of June and we're already starting this?

You should be at my house on game day, I have to sit between them.
June 13, 201214 yr Author Isn't it great!! And a company based in Louisville has responded by offering to buy a billboard on I-64 East in Lexington with this on it...
June 13, 201214 yr I love this kind of thing, can't wait for football season to start. Getslow, what was the Twitter nonsense you mention?
June 13, 201214 yr Author I love this kind of thing, can't wait for football season to start. Getslow, what was the Twitter nonsense you mention? UK freshman corner Jonathan Reed made some comments that culminated with him stating his desire to "dance on the ugly red bird in the middle of Papa John's." Louisville corner Adrian Bushell responded in kind and then several fans became involved. It wasn't much, but it definitely seemed awful early for chatter in the Twitterverse. What I really learned is that if you're following college athletes on Twitter and insert yourself into conversations they're having with each other, there's nothing good about who you are or what you do.
June 13, 201214 yr UK has had football billboards as well as general UK billboards up on 65 in Louisville over the past few years. As a UK fan I'm struggling to get excited. I'm hoping it's because it's June and not because of the potential disaster of a season.

June 13, 201214 yr As a UK fan I'm struggling to get excited. I'm hoping it's because it's June and not because of the potential disaster of a season. If I'm UK, I'm keeping my mouth shut. I think UL will be a double-digit favorite.
June 13, 201214 yr If I'm UK, I'm keeping my mouth shut. I think UL will be a double-digit favorite. Agreed, no much to talk about it. It's going to be a long year.
June 13, 201214 yr Isn't it great!! I've got one graduated form UL and one graduated from UK. You should be at my house on game day, I have to sit between them. There's a house one block over from me that has 4 flags...UL, UK, TN and AL. THAT'S a conflicted house.
June 14, 201214 yr This is one reason I like them playing the first game of the season. It generates more spring/summer interest than if it was the third game.
June 14, 201214 yr If I'm UK, I'm keeping my mouth shut. I think UL will be a double-digit favorite. I think you might be correct. I just want to see a great/good game.
June 18, 201214 yr If I'm UK, I'm keeping my mouth shut. I think UL will be a double-digit favorite. Word up. Will Jonathon Reed even see the field?
