June 6, 201214 yr The Heat were up 74-72 with 7:30 to go. Lebron did not attempt another shot until the Celtics gave him a layup up 4 w/under 10 seconds left. He has to be more aggressive. Edit: He also missed a corner 3 with a minute to go. He's not a winner. I know people are probably tired of this, especially Heat fans. But, when the game is on the line he either can't finish or can't put his teammates in a position to finish.
June 6, 201214 yr Garnett was huge for the Celtics. He did it all - score, key rebounds, great defense, clutch free throws at the end. On the other end of the spectrum, Rondo was at times embarrassing. His lack of effort on plays irritates the heck out of me. It is Game 5 of the conference championship and you can't give effort and focus for an entire game? I thought the Celtics won this game with great defense. HT's stats above back that view up. I thought while Rondo didn't have a good game he still did little things that effected the outcome (tapping a loose ball out for a 3, contesting a Haslem rebound). Stuff like that will not show up on his stat line, but will effect the outcome of the game.

The lack of effort/non chalant plays that he regularly has drive me crazy.

June 6, 201214 yr I don't see this team ever truly coming together. Yes, the amount of talent is UNREAL. It isn't an intelligently designed team though. The pieces don't all fit together. Breaking up the Superfriends (that one's for you PP :lol:) would probably be the best thing for the Heat. I also think they could get a better coach then Spoelstra. Which coach would you replace him with? I'm also curious as to what moves you think the Heat should make if they were to break up the team. I think I would get a new coach first...Pat, Phil or SVG and if they don't get better...then break up the Superfriends. I think a new coach, a better coach could fix their issues. If not...break them up. And yes, I'd keep Lebron and deal Wade right off the bat.
June 6, 201214 yr Lebron took questions at his locker after game 4. I'm not sure about last night. I saw Lebron talks game 5 on the Sportscenter wall but fell asleep before it got to him so I don't know if he took questions or not. There's no reason to talk to Wade in my book. :lol: He took questions at this locker again.

June 7, 201214 yr Losing game 5 at home was a big blow for the Heat and is likely going to be very tough to overcome. If they win in Boston, I will be surprised.

Could be the reason why he can't close out games. Pretty tough for a 260 lb freak athlete to muster up that energy after fighting to just keep his team in the game for 48 minutes.
