Very Sad...They could have just resigned Fred Lewis at least they knew what he brought to the table...I don't know why they spend money on these chumps even if it is near minimum or at minimum...Juan Pierre was signed for $800,000 on a Minor League deal, I was a big fan of signing him this offseason...Heck Dontrelle was a better option as a bench LH than Harris...Harris was signed for $800,000 also on a Minor League deal...I know there is a chance Pierre would have rather played in Philly, but offer him $1 M or $1.5 M if this is even the case and I'm sure he signs with Cincy...Pierre>Harris, this year, last 10 years, next 10 years...Give me him all day...Reds Front Office doesn't have a clue... I tend to disagree with Bronson but I can see his argument. Keep in mind it benefits him to keep Chapman in the pen.

One of the national guys tweeted the other day and said something like "if you had told me two years ago that in 2012 Chapman would be a one-inning setup pitcher I would have assumed it would be because he had shoulder surgery."

I never imagined he would end up in the pen this soon into his career...Not after all the hype surrounding his signing and the fact he was a starter for the National Team...He then Started in L-Ville, I thought for sure he was going to be a starter even if it meant keeping him in AAA for a couple full seasons...

In 3 of Homer's last 4 games he's pitched 6+ giving up 1, 2, and 3 ERs and got no decision. Leake pitched well enough last night to get a W. Didn't.
