May 17, 201214 yr Author It's time to move Cozart out of the leadoff spot....Maybe try Heisey there? :idunno: I think Phillips is the best option for this team, but then you would have to move Bruce to cleanup, and you know Dusty won't do that.
May 17, 201214 yr Why not let Hanigan hit let lead off. He is slow but has a high OBP and rarely K's . It's not like like Cozart burns up the base path.

I could see him moving back to Leadoff and Frazier replacing him in the cleanup spot...It probably wont happen until Frazier proves his worth for a longer period of time but since Dusty wont put Bruce there Id like to see it...Phillips was intended to leadoff, he got hurt and when he came back he was inserted into cleanup...Phillips is now as healthy as ever and if Rolen was productive and healthy he wouldve batted cleanup so what difference does it make to hit Frazier cleanup...

I would be for that the Reds are last in steals anyways so that doesnt matter...However I think Hanigans best spot is 2 with Phillips leading off...Then Votto, Frazier, Bruce, Heisey, Cozart, Stubbs...Stubbs could steal more often down there without the worry of getting thrown out in front of Votto
May 17, 201214 yr Author And just like that it's 4-2 as Duda drills a 2 run double. It looked to me as Bruce took a bad route on the ball.

May 17, 201214 yr Author He is throwing WAYYYYYYY to many pitches. He's at 92 pitches after 5. His strike to ball ratio actually isn't that bad either at 62-30.

May 17, 201214 yr He is throwing WAYYYYYYY to many pitches. I dont have the stats to compare in front of me but just for comparison I wonder how Latos walk numbers stack up against EVs...As far as I know he dont have a history of control issues but this year he is really struggling..
May 17, 201214 yr Author Please tell me Berry didn't send Votto on that play. Reds just run themselves out of what had the potential to be a big inning.
