May 12, 201214 yr What is that record with the Reds? Can you say playoffs? How often has that happened in Cincinnati in the past 20 years?
May 12, 201214 yr Can you say playoffs? How often has that happened in Cincinnati in the past 20 years? You never answered my question. What is his record with the Reds? How about his playoff record in Cincinnati?
May 12, 201214 yr Just left the game...A few things stick out to me...1. Stubbs could have caught the ball that hit the wall in the 1st it the wall about about 4 feet, Stubbs is 6'4" he gave up...Doesnt surpise me though he routinely lets balls drop 3 feet in front of him...2. Leake obviously cant fool anybody, if Strasburg didnt skip AAA then neither should have Leake...3. Phillips is the king of boneheaded base running moves...5. Rolen cant hit an 87 mph heater, he is slow on everything...6. The biggest thing is Dusty had Frazier and Valdez up to pinch hit in the 5th I think it was, he chose to use Valdez and I understood saving Todd...However bases loaded late in the game and Dusty doesnt use him he uses Heisey??? I cant explain it, I wanted to jump the right field and go have a talk with Dusty...It been a long night I skipped #4 o well
May 12, 201214 yr You never answered my question. What is his record with the Reds? How about his playoff record in Cincinnati? Off the top of my head, I believe he is right around .500, perhaps just below? Am I close? If I am, what does that tell us? That Marv Levy stunk as a football coach didn't he?
May 12, 201214 yr Reds is just not good enough to run Leake out there every fifth game and get hammered. Francis needs to get a chance if you are not going to put Chapman in the rotation soon. There is no way Rolen should be playing. He was late on fastballs right down the middle last night. When is Masset and Bray ready? Anybody know?
May 12, 201214 yr They have to find a way to win half their games against good teams and beat up the bad ones. If they get beat up by good ones and beat up the bad ones that wont be enough to reach the playoffs.

May 12, 201214 yr Author Costanzo is 28, and is a career minor leaguer. I say put Frazier in LF, Costanzo at 3B, and see what the two can do. It can't be any worse than the offensive production they've been getting out of those positions.
