Sadly, if that happens, he'll stay right there in the rotation, and be the achilles heel for this staff all season long. Never realized his potential. He has solid stuff that he can't command. Yesterday, just like all of his starts, he gets ahead in the count and hangs a breaking pitch or can't seem to miss the heart of the plate with his fastball. I thought he was just a mental midget who couldn't concentrate. However, I think he lacks command as much as anything. I am tired of hearing about how young he is, yada, yada. Ship that joker out, stick Chapman in the rotation if they're gonna, and move along.

He gives up a two out hit to the crippled Braun. He gets Ramirez down 0-2, and all of a sudden becomes concerned that Braun is going to steal 2nd base, and starts playing catch with Votto. He loses his concentration, and plunks Ramirez on the next pitch after throwing over twice. All Hell broke lose after that.

It shouldn't be that tuff...Granted Bailey's fastball is straight as an arrow if he threw it up in the zone which shouldn't be that hard to do for a big league pitcher than he would get guys to chase...Or he could throw a curve or splitter in the dirt and get guys to chase, but he always seems to want to feather his pitches right on the corners and he just doesn't have that kind of control...Hitters will chase 0-2 and if they don't they will chase 1-2 or 2-2, don't pipe them one until it's a full count...
May 10, 201214 yr Ben Revere Lex Native. Played pretty well in spring training. Pure leadoff man. Blazing speed no power great in the field. His back down in the minors right now because the Twins outfield is full. I'd love to see Ben a Red!

Yes he would be great and probably attainable that's why I mentioned him...However you would think with him being younger than Span they would rather move Span...Either way I think the Reds could have either one of them for Leake + Lutz/Soto or Leake +Gregorius...
