Shouldn't he prove he can hit AA and AAA pitching first?

Why? He's the phenom. I just hope he does well enough to survive.

Minor details . . . . . . :D

MLB Network is carrying the game tonight at 9.

Forgive me, but who's Bryce Harper?

You're not forgiven. :D:D He was the #1 overall pick 2 years ago by the Nationals.

Does he have a KY/OH connection?

Not that I'm aware of. Why do you ask?

Who else saw the laser he cut loose from LF?

We'll forgive you, but this is kind of like not knowing who Anthony Davis is. He is that big of a projected talent in baseball. In fact, the better analogy might be LeBron James when he was in high school. Harper has been followed and hyped in a similar way since high school.

Doubles for his first MLB hit.

Why yes...yes he did. Nats now up 3-1 after Harper's sac fly put them up 2-1 in the top of the 9th. His first RBI in his first game may be the game winning RBI.

I jinxed it. 3-2 Nats...no outs...bottom of the 9th runners on 2nd and 3rd.
