The CovCath Frosh pitching is deep, as Noah Galvin threw vs Campbell County, Brain Haughey was on the hump vs. Bishop Brossart with a inning from Adam Ruwe, so CovCath still has Bo Schuh and Mr. Singer to throw with two games left in the Regional Freshmen Tourney.

5-1 Ncc in top of 3rd. Schuh chased in the second after some nice hitting from the Breds.

Heard from a friend Ncc won 7 5. Who pitch for Ncc and it looks like they got the best of Mr. Bo. Congrats to Ncc and Dixie.

Looks like NCC wins the crown with a win over Dixie. I believe Greg Crawford pitched a complete game shutout with 9 K's to propel the Breds to the victory. Was not there so if that is not correct someone please correct me.

Greg Crawford was amazing tonight as well as the Newcath defense. Breds played small ball to win their 3rd title in 5 years. Breds had 3 shutouts in their 4 regional games. Heck of a job

Congrats to the Newcath players and coaches. Glad to hear that Crawford had such a dominant outing because he's truly a great kid. I didn't realize that Newcath had won three of the last five regional championships until tonight. Word is they won in 2008, 2009, were runner-up to Ryle in 2010, lost in quarter-final to CovCath in 2011 and won again in 2012. To be in four of the last five regional finals is an outstanding accomplishment to their program. Kevin Gray and staff have always done a fantastic job in preparing their kids for not only the postseason, but their future in the NCC baseball program. Congrats, again.

Congratulations to Kevin Gray, his staff, his players and the entire NCC program for their victory last night. The amount of work and dedication needed to even get to the championship is incredible. To win the trophy is a testament not only to the talent of the NCC players and knowledge of the coaching staff but also to the type of person Kevin is. Congratulations once again!
