I'm thinking Sweet 16. Anything past that is gravy. Obviously this is WAY early and my expectations might change once I see more of them.

As you said it is too early. Plus do not know who else might sign.

As of today, Sweet 16.

Without seeing how they play as a team, can't really make a prediction, but on talent alone, a Sweet Sixteen would be minimum for me to consider it a good season.

I understand it's too early. But with the studio guys talking about this the other night I figured I'd gather BGP's collective thoughts.

On paper right now I think they are good enough to make the Elite 8.

I'm with you as far as the minimum. I think they can make it to the Final Four with their talent.

Are there any JUCO players out there that Cal is going after? Someone like a Dodson, who is a shooter?

Could contend for a title. I think Elite 8 is a good expectation at this point, just based on talent alone. Definitely too early to know for sure though.

Agree.

I'll say at least Elite Eight to be safe but I really feel Final Four. Cal has proven that he can take a team deep into March with the talent he is pulling in. How many other coaches can win a title, replace all 5 starters and your 6th man and still be in the hunt for the title and preseason top 5 team? The game has changed and Cal has mastered it. At least Elite Eight without Bennett. With Bennett..........

I'd have to agree. Hasn't Calipari made 7 of the last 8 Elite 8's?

He's going to see the light one of these days.

It all depends on what sort of draw they get.
