Trent Johnson Leaves LSU for TCU

Featured Replies

Trent Johnson will be named head coach at TCU on Monday.

Should be interesting to see who is involved for the LSU job :thumb:

Why? I don't understand that move at all.

Get out of town a year before you get fired...

So Hickey can transfer without a sitting out a year? Is that correct?

Addition by subtraction for the Tigers!

Good get for TCU to get a name like Johnson. He has had some success at smaller profile programs in the past and recruiting Texas at TCU should be reasonable. TCU fans are excited to get him and I like the move for TCU. I am not sure it is an upgrade for Johnson, but there is obvious wisdom in what GT posted earlier in the thread.

No...

It's only if a school gets in trouble like UConn? Is that correct?

Gotcha. I don't know why I thought that.

Anthony Hickey is said to be considering a transfer.

Been considering it for a long time. Will be surprised if he stays...

Where do you think he'll end up?
