North Dakota State(9-7 1-1 Summit)goes into South Dakota and wins for the 2nd consecutive year. The Bison led by as many as 14 but was unable to hold the big lead as South Dakota (14-5 1-1 Summit) took the lead late. The Bison recovered and was able to post the three point win.

 

Leading NDST wit a career high 35 was Freshman Cameron Hunter(Olathe, KS) He went 9-12 from the field,5-5 from three point land and 12-14 from the free throw line. Paul Miller(Waukesha, WI) only hit 9-16 from the field but still totaled 24 points.

 

South Dakota was led by their talented Junior guard Matt Mooney(Wauconda, IL) 23 points. He struggled from the three point line hitting just 5-13 shots.
