See even Gallatin saw the advantage of hiring a coach who knew the girls and that is an asset to their team. As for the parents and fans of WV, I believe most of the parents were excited about a new coach because quite a few had made it know that they didn't care for Lubbe's coaching methods. I believe the new coach had the majority of the support from the parents and administration in the first year but now that year 2 has rolled around I believe alot of the parents and fans would love to see another coaching change. No changes or improvement from the last year. No matter what you say, the coach IS the LEADER of the team otherwise, why have one? Look at a good team, it equals a good coach!

I agree that Brossart received no calls underneath, but that was goin on on both ends of the court so my question is why wasn't Coop and Lubbs pushing back??!!

Congrats to the Pioneers on a WELL played game. In my opinion, the huge difference maker was the way SK shot the three in the first half. Multiple players finding net on about every attempt they made in the first half. It was a bombardment. I have no idea, but it seemed that SK shot like 70-80 percent from downtown in the first half...maybe better:eek: In comparison, with Walton missing all of their first 7 or 8 three attempts, the game got away from them in a hurry. Walton had some good looks with the defense collapsing or double teaming Ison, but they just would not fall. If SK shoots like that on the perimeter, added to Niece doing her thing, and Meier in the paint, they will be very tough to beat. I was proud of my Bearcats how they came out in the third and played much better, and shots started falling. They did not lay down after taking one on the chin in the first half. Lord willing, they will get another swing at the 'neers in the regional final, but there are some good teams they will have to beat to get there so it may not happen. Lets give a huge shout out to the STUDENT-athletes that were given 32nd district academic honors...
