Any thoughts on the tournament which starts 12/2 and runs through 12/6?

I don't remember the girl's name but Dixie has a really, really good guard and another girl that shoots the 3 fairly well.

I never heard of a tourney in first week of season.

The Dixie Heights Invitational Tourney is the longest running girls tournament in this area. Not sure yet of all the teams invited. It will be played on 12/2, 12/4 and championship games on 12/6.

Dixie definitely has some talent. I believe a couple of the best guards in the district. Their biggest problem is lack of a true post player. The team is physically small. They have a lot of heart and are determined to show others in the region what they are capable of. This team has played together for several years. They are now figuring things out under a new coach. The starting five include 2 seniors, 2 juniors, and a sophmore. We wish them the best of luck this season!

Carly Radar is one of their guards and not only is she a pretty good player, but a fine person as well.

Karli Rader and Morgann Lubbe are both guards for Dixie that will cause some trouble for some other teams this season.
