  1. If Meyer has the same success at OSU that he had with Florida and only stays 5 or 6 years I can live with that. I remember Saban taking a lot of heat surrounding him taking the Alabama job, but it seems all is forgotten now. Amazing what winning will do.

  3. 6A Trinity 5A Bowling Green 4A Highlands 3A Central 2A Glasgow 1A Mayfield TB - 52
  4. After a year of turmoil in Columbus finally something to get excited about. Now, if the NCAA would release their findings sometime this decade they could move on.
  5. Congrats to the Falcons on a good season, especially since the bye week. A lot of these seniors have two rings and three Regional Championships, not too shabby. Congrats to Central, I fully expect them to win next week in BG. Wales is one of, if not the best back in KY.

  8. I agree with asking him in his own home, man to man. However, if he is likely to take it badly and also happens to be a gun enthusiast, you might want to pick a public place.

  10. I think Meyer is a forgone conclusion to coach next year if he wants it and there are a number of indications that he does. However, I wish they would wait until next Sunday to go public so Fickel and the Bucks can focus on the job at hand which is beating that team up North. As far as the “Dream Team”, it sounds great in theory, but that’s a lot of top names to assemble so my expectations might be for a couple to join Meyer’s staff, but probably not all of them.
  11. I think he needs 400 more yards in his career for the all time KY record for a career. The 2000 is this year, he has 2300 + yards this year with the next closest on the team at 300 and some change.
  12. Pulling for the Cardinals in this one, I think home field advantage and the Mayfield defense will be too much to overcome for Beechwood.
  13. I would like to see Murray win, but I believe Glasgow prevails in this one.
  14. I would say this is the biggest Semi-Final game the Falcons have played in recent memory, mainly because they are a big underdog and it is at home. The key for Fort Campbell is obvious, stop Wales. He is their leading rusher by more than 2000 yards, their leading scorer by almost 200 points, and their leading receiver. As always, Fort Campbell cannot turn the ball over or leave points on field, but they must stop or at least limit yardage and points from Anthony Wales. If they can do that they can win and advance to Bowling Green. Fort Campbell has been playing great against the run over the last half of the season and that is Central’s strength. However, they haven’t faced a back of the caliber of Wales so they must wrap up on tackles and contain the edges. Offensively, the Falcons will have to put 3-4 TDs on the board to come out on top. I predict the Falcons play their best game so far and pull the upset for the second straight week. FC 34 Central 28
  15. Congrats to the Falcons! Going into Paducah and coming away with a win was a huge victory for Fort Campbell. PT almost had another 4th quarter comeback, but it wasn’t to be this time around.
  16. I did not want to see a LSU verses Alabama rematch, but if they both win out that is the only realistic option now. I really want to see Arkansas beat LSU just so the BCS can do about 4 more back flips before it’s all said and done.
