I want to give an honest thoughtful answer to why any dynasty falls. Hubris. People forget what it takes. People forget how they got there. People take for granted that it will always continue, opponents will always be intimidated, and we will win because its what we do. People get twisted and think you are defending something instead of going out and repeatedly taking it. The end goal becomes more important than the process and peoples views become superficial instead of deep, focused, and preparatory.

EKU has their recruits listed on the roster today. Franklin is not on there.

Oh, That is great

A friend of mine has a theory that the president or AD came in and told the staff to get some KY kids in there or else.

But the thing is that paragraph is not different. The school has been located in the same place all this time it hasn't won a region. It hasn't been in 6a at all. You have forgotten about NCC by the way for football. The only difference is Eviston, you have to hang your hat on Eviston.

So according to him he turned down 9 FBS offers to go to EKU

Awesome insight into the program. Keep preaching coach Eviston.

I'm underwhelmed by your proof.

So no actual evidence? Just words that sound good and feelings?

What is the indication that the regional winner streak may end soon?

Haven't won a regional title since 2006? 10 years of drought. What happened? Why? Who is responsible?

I hear the baseball coach at Glasgow is well respected by his peers.

Like finding out the main character in 6th sense was dead the whole time.

I wil let him know tomorrow that he may not "be all that he can be". He will want every penny he is legally allowed.

My current 2016-17 information is coming from my boss who is doing this right now. Classified employee, still capped.

Brother, I don't know why you think you know more about this than I do but a classified employee is not making 70k point blank. And ktrs has a percentage you can make before you start cutting into what they will pay you. 2 whammys there.

One other thing he could do that people aren't mentioning is go to McCracken and take 3 stipends and a higher salary like Jackson and MAX out his 3 highest salary years for when he actually retires. The retirement is based on a percentage of what you made your highest years.

There is no way he would be allowed to make 70k by the ktrs. That's too high of a percentage. There are laws about this. That's why double dipping can only truly be maxed out in a different state.

More money total, yes.

He could technically retire and do a 100 day contract or some other type of deal that would be a fraction of his current salary. To truly double dip and max out the $$ he'd have to leave the state.

So i'm not a Simon Kenton fan but I want to put together the dream schedule for them. Its hard since they are in a 3 team district and are up near the border so there will be travel. I'm staying away from OH teams for the purpose of this thread. This is fairyland where I can force teams to play and have the right dates and such. Scrimmage: Keep X on there. Done it a couple of times and its good for both. Then we roll in this order i'm pretending the bye is right before the 2 district games. The existential pink elephant in the room is: do they win more because they have had 1 coach or do they have 1 coach because they win more?
