  1. Relegation would be fun. Lets do relegation.
  2. 5 classes and top 2 in each district go to playoffs and this geography problem goes away.
  3. Um, I have been back and I have tried it. You are wrong. The computer spaces them out to far. The pros cannot game the system anymore like we used to. Period. You might as well not respond.
  4. The first soarin was just walk in as the park was open. The rest was fast pass wizardry by the missus.
  5. Coach Smart may not have been aware of it, but I put him through a weeklong job interview last summer when he coached me on Team USA in Valdivia, Chile. We instantly formed a bond.-Bamba
  6. He does. He knows exactly what is going on and I think he hit the nail on the head with the why part too. With the old fastpass system I once rode soarin 4 times and test track 2x in one day without ever standing in a long line. That can't be done now. My wife was a wizard in the old system.
  7. The biggest caveat is that the title should say high school football and below. Some of those things are more important the lower the level. And some of those things are more important the worse shape a program is in. Others I just flat out disagree with.
  8. The media has created a very dangerous situation. They cry wolf every day. In the eventuality the President does do something bad more than half of America is not going to believe them.

  10. Agree to take off more time in June?
  11. Nick Saban: 'I've learned you can't work all the time. That used to be a problem' “We’ve learned through the years you can’t work all the time, which used to be a problem for me,” Saban said. “We take advantage of the little time we have in the summer, and it’s been very beneficial.” “Through the years, I’ve had to learn, maybe the hard way sometimes. Balance is really healthy in anything that you do. I actually think it’s now better for family, staff, staff’s family and me personally.
  12. Its not called spin when you wrote it and posted it.

  14. You have been all over the place for your reasoning. First it was because some team gave up 48 in a November game and now you are just going to have your team come in 4-5 days a week so you can be a personal trainer.
  15. Last post for me today. Learn to be efficient with your work and your time.
  16. As I said, my school, does 2 days and has rings. Pointing out the opposite end of the spectrum would entail an example of a 5 day week and rings. I haven't heard you say who that is. When you say 48 points South Oldham springs to mind but I know you aren't that coach. He is on here and has a different name than you do. Going 2 days a week doesn't keep you from winning championships and doesn't keep kids from playing in college. You can't have a reply to that, it is just a fact.
  17. The fact that you think practicing 4-5 days a week in June has anything to do with giving up 48 points the 4th week of November tells me all I need to know.
  18. Just because your coach did something one way and you WANT it to be right doesn't make it right. Here's what I suggest. Poll the state championship coaches from the last 5 years. Contact all of them. Ask what they do in June. I've already told you how 2 of them do it.
  19. (the law of) diminishing returns phrase of diminish 1. used to refer to a point at which the level of profits or benefits gained is less than the amount of money or energy invested.
  20. Ruh, Ruh, manly roaaar! As I said McKee is off the whole month of June. He has a 6a ring. He has multiple college players. My team practices 2 days a week in June for an hour and a half. We do NOT run shuttles, 40's, and practice verticals. We have rings, we have multiple college players.
  21. You are trying to make this about college football? This is about HS teams. Having practice 4-5 days a week is a negative for college bound athletes. I'm not sure how many College athletes you have coached but they will be going to camps and going to off campus workout sites and playing in the summer 7-7 stuff if not playing baseball and basketball. We aren't taking anything away from a kid by not asking him to punch the clock 4-5 days a week in June. Jim McKee has been used as an example. He's doing all right. I have others if you need them.
  22. But the manly men will still practice 4-5 days a week in June. 2 things will happen to 95% of them. A. The roster will be smaller and someone will pontificate on how todays kids are soft. B. In early to late November they will be free to go watch some playoff games and on the drive there they can talk about how they just need to practice more.
  23. I guess based on what you think is already common knowledge. Telling your friends things from a private conversation is the definition of a leak.
  24. Comey apparently has already leaked details of a private conversation with the president to the NY Times.
