There is a regular-season title and a playoff district championship. In reality, Team B can come back and beat Team A for the district title.

From my view, that's a big part of it. They run one offense in middle school, then to get high school and have to learn an entirely new offense. That, IMHO, puts them back a bit.

Trailing 21-14, Meade stopped Nelson on fourth-and-goal from the 8. Scored in five plays, and that was pretty much it in this game. It was a pretty fun game to watch until that point. Nelson couldn't stop Meade on the ground, Meade couldn't stop Nelson through the air. Turning point was that fourth-down stop and then getting Nelson to punt -- for the first time, mind you -- on its next drive. Dylan Beasley finished 17 of 35 for 294 yards and three scores -- all to Trey White, who had 222 yards on eight catches.

Meade rushed for 527 yards, finished with 632 overall.
