Monroe County 57 Hart County 6

Featured Replies

Good to see the Falcons get a big-score victory!

Raiders come crashing back down to earth.

Way to go 'Roe! Keep it up boys!

Probably a stupid question coming up here, but was this a 57-6 score of total domination or was it a 57-6 score, where 28-35 points were attributed to special teams returns, turnovers, etc.?

This shocks the crap out of me. I knew Hart was better and that Monroe hadn't been the Monroe of the past 3 years early on, yet still a good squad. Details anyone? tsyoung?semperfi-falcon? Nice win for you all however it came about. Coach Petitte (sp?), your players, the administration and community have done an amazing job in the job you all of done the past few years.

A few thoughts

Monroe continues to get better each game, they're young and lacked experience coming into the season but I can see the improvements each game.

Defensive ends played better than I can remember them playing in quite some time, several tackles for a loss and turned several plays into the LB's

Offense had a good rhythm to it, and the receivers did a great job making some plays.

Damien Hamilton had a great game on offense and defense and needs to continue to become the playmaker he can be

Hart's RB was lazy and lacked passion, he seemed to give up in the second qtr.

Hart Co. passed the look test but just couldn’t get anything going on the Falcons D

Coach Petett is doing a great job under the circumstances. A young team, new offense coordinator and a new defense coordinator. I'm sure he's enjoying seeing them grow as a team.

I'm still concerned about our ability to slow down teams with a lot of speed.

The Falcons had a few interceptions when Hart started to get desperate, otherwise it was a very one-sided game. Monroe scored at will and had a running clock in the third qtr. Hart got their only score with about 1:30 left in the game.

Forgot to add earlier that Monroe’s fans once again traveled well and outnumbered the home fans.

This game looked to be a good one on paper but was indeed one sided! Hart IMO looked to be the bigger and better team but gave the Falcons little and at times no problems. This may sound bad, but the Raiders were outmatched in all aspects of the game last night. The second and third strings were moving the ball between tackles with very little difficulty. The game was 42-0 at half with Monroe's offense exploding through the Hart defense like they were middle schoolers....I was blown away at the level of intensity by these young men on the field and the couching staff. They came to make a statement that Monroe is not trying to rebuild after three really good years, more so that they for are reloading with some very good young talent and more coming up in the ranks! I look forward to Edmonson county and the real test for Monroe. Edmonson is ranked, so this should tell if these young men are for real or not....
