Title IX is not dollar for dollar. It has to do with the opportunity to have the same advantage no matter if it is male or female. It also is an avg. of dollars depending on the number of athletes per team. If you have 100 student athletes in you school, 35 were male and 65 were female, the percent of dollars the female get would be greater than the male and so it goes for the coaches.

I think spring football can really help a young program.

You are right, but there are some football players who play baseball that will do both.

The kids that love football love spring football and can't wait for it to come. The coaches like it becuase they get to see what they will be working with next year, they love coaching and don't have to wait untill the season to start working with the kids.
