  4. FYI: Greetings from Centre! There have been a lot of exciting things going on around Centre Football recently, first of which is the finishing up of the recruiting year. We are excited about this year's recruiting class. This by far may be the most talented class since 1998. We have 31 recruits entering into our pre-season in August. Three of our freshmen represented Kentucky this year in the annual Tennessee Kentucky All-star game, and numerous players played in state championships. Four states are represented in this class, with Kentucky having the most representatives. Below is our 2011 class of recruits. Thomas KY In early May, our football team finished our five week non-traditional spring practice without pads. We have a competition at QB that will likely continue up to and through the Hanover scrimmage (at Hanover on August 25th at 1p.m. I was excited to see the progress made by our upper classmen in the weight room this winter and spring. As we say, "competition heightens the play and the joy of the play." We have plenty of competition at all our positions. It will be exciting to see who emerge as our starters next fall. Just before finals, the spring phase of our weights program also finished up, and all of the non-injured players were tested for their progress. Listed below are the spring results of the top five finishes in our speed and strength program. Centre Football
  5. Great point about being upfront during the process!
  6. There is no doubt these coaches love the game and the kids, its sure not the money they make. Everyone has a stance and can make a great point on both sides of this argument. Somerset is probably happy to have him back and there is probably a feeling of relief in that community. It sounds like he is well liked by parents and kids alike. Lets hope both programs, Somerset and Henderson are happy with the final outcome and support the kids and coaches in there respective communities. Positive reinforcement is vital, especially from the community, the kids and coaches need and will move forward like nothing happened!
  7. I like Christian, but at the end of the day can ANYONE compete w L-ville.
  8. little research looks like he's a winner, both as a player and a coach
