Novosel is by far better than Reid. Novosel makes others around her better and is a team player. Reid just wants her stats.

Southwesterns Trevor Jones shut down Watts. Watts is a good player but Jones who is 6'4 and quick took it to him all night. Great job by the blue and orange.

I agree these two teams won against each other on there home court. It will be a shootout and should be fun to watch.

This makes alot of sense. The weather last night was much better than this afternoon and tonight. McCreary does not need to host this tournament again.

Wayne lost more than one senior from last years squad. They lost the girl who transferred to Somerset. She was there only inside presence. Wayne will not win the region. It will be Casey or Lincoln.

This is crazy. The game should have been played last night. It is much worse today than yesterday. It makes you wonder who is running the asylum.

This is absolutly crazy. There is no weather going on. Who made the decision to cancel the game. Is it the host school or KHSAA.

Southwestern better not look over Monticellio they can sneak up and beat you. I think it will be a hard fought game coming down to a last play.

1. Casey it is there tournament to lose 2. Lincoln almost as good as casey 3. Rockcastle 3rd best in the region. If above two play bad they can win it. 4. Southwestern can beat anybody on a given night but lack depth and dicipline. 5. Somerset, Monticellio, Wayne County. Talent and can sneak up on you. Monticellio beat Somerset in the All A.

I agree it is Caseys to lose. But if they fall you have Lincoln, Rockcastle, Southwestern, and Wayne County that can contend. Somerset is a sleeper.

No I thought Southwestern had a chance to win but a costly turnover at the wrong time was big. If I remember right it was decent officiated game. But it was not the same jokers that officiated at Wayne last night.

I would have to disagree with you Those three refs won the game last night. I have seen alot of basketball in my years and have played at the the college level. I was a high school official for years until my job took me on the road to much. If that is the best the 12th region has then I feel sorry for the teams in that region.

I believe that his style of coaching is why Simon Kenton will never win the Region. There is never any reason to humilate anyone.

I have played for two State Titles in Ohio In Boys Basketball in the 80's. I have also been back every year to watch the final four of all 4 Divisions in Columbus and the areana is sold out for every game. Kentucky needs Class basketball.

Thanks for all the respones. I like the idea of seeing if the player can deal with it at first. If it continues then something must be done. No coach at any level should say this to a player.

What should a person do if a coach tells one of his players that they Suck! That is right that comment was said to a high school player from there head coach.

The only reason that I made the statement is they will not be moved by October 15th. You never know about coachs and programs and parents and what kind of trouble this could cause then again you are probably right and it will be no big deal.

I can guarantee there is no funny business going on here. The move is several hours away and the main reason I believe they like Conner is test scores and elementary and middle schools for there younger kids. This would not even be a topic anywhere if the job opportunity would have happened over the summer. Parents move for higher paying jobs and better opportunities all the time it just so happens that they have a daughter that is a very good post player and that makes for wrinkles.

The transfer is legit. The players father was just offered the job this week. The family still has to make a house hunting trip and compare the cost of living. The player wants to attend Conner and at this point the parents dont even know what neighborhoods are in that area. If transferring is an issue I would suspect the father to live in northern kentucky and the rest of the family to stay put. I know the family does not want that to happen but they also do not want their child to have to sit out a year. I think the parents wish all of this would have happened over the summer while there was more time but you never know when opportunity will knock. In the end the player will play at her current school or Conner provided she cam make Conner's team after the transfer.

Why would the player be ineligible if there is a bondfide change of residence.

Yes this is the player that will be attending Conner if all works out.
