I am not degrading anyone or any team. I am simply stating that I believe that SL will win in a big way and that SW is in for a very long season. Like I said before they just dont have the athletes they have had in the past, they are a young team and will get better in a few years but they will take there lumps this year.

I have also said that they have a few good players #12 especially. They just do not have the players to compete this year. They will be lucky to win a game . South Laural in a big way tonight.

Southwesterns kickoff went out of bounds three straight times on one kickoff attempt. That is sad.

Dont get me wrong I have nothing against SW. They just dont have the athletes this year that they have had in the past. They do have some good players but not enough. SL 45 SW 21. Also they better find someone to kick the ball last friday night was embarrassing.

South Laural wins in a big way. Southwesterns D could not stop a middle school team right now. I have also heard that they are banged up on the offensive side of the ball. Like I said early on this will be a long long year for Southwestern.

Danville wins in a big way. It is going to be a very long season for the warriors. The only real threat they have is #12 and he cant throw it to himself. Southwestern may only win 2 games this year.

From what I just learned the post player that was headed to Conner will be staying with her previous school. Her dad was in line to get a new job in Northern Kentucky but it seems that it fell thru.

Conner high school will be adding to there height with a 6'1 post player that is moving in to the region. She is a in coming junior and started as a sophomore. She also was named to her all region tourny team last year. From what I am being told she can flat play inside.

Not sure if all starters were there or not. They have a young Post player that is good though and they can shoot.

Dunbar is very athletic and quick they will have another great year they unfortuntatly play in the 11th region. Henry clay almost a mirror image of Dunbar great year but 11th region. LCA looked good to missing a few starters. Clay County class of the 13th again. Southwestern played good all weekend there loss to Dunbar is not an indicator they lost there starting point guard in warmups to a turned ankle from that point on the team was very upset or at least appeared that way. Manual WoW very athletic once this team learns to play together and share the ball a little bit they will be explosive. Assumption good but down a little Sacred Heart a very scrappy buch of players. Montgomery County will be a very good ball club. Booned County they have a lot of talent need to learn to play together. Somerset will surprise some people in the 12th region this year. These were my obsevations from watching some bball this weekend.

Try to give your two weeks notice and start your new job in the work world and see if you can change your mind. 9 times out of 10 no. Somerset's coach has showed his team that it is alright to quit and come back and say I made a mistake. More should be expected from the leaders of these young men. If I would have been the Super no way he comes back.

I agree that these are very hard decisions and what is right for the family should weigh heavily in the decision. But this should be done BEFORE you accept the new position. Once you accept and resign from old job you have made a commitment. We are teaching our kids that it is alright to quit or to commit then change your mind.

With the recent reversal of Somersets coach plus what happened with Florida we are teaching our kids that it is alright to make a commitment then say nay I changed my mind. I am sick and tired of hearing that it is okay!!! we need to teach our kids and youth that you make hard decisions you plan and talk them but once you commit you stick with it. What Somersets coach did is plain wrong and the Somerset administration is wrong for letting him come back.

Somerset lost and that is a great thing. Lets hope that Ryle comes out and finishes business tonight. Somerset has been overrated all year anyway. Good luck to Ryle.

Wrong Someret Football Wallens older sister graduated from SWHS and they have not moved. Also look at there other sports rosters.

One would think that Somerset with all that county talent should have made a little better showing. There Roster including starting pitcher Wallen is loaded with kids that live in the county school district. Somerset Independant Schools the next best thing to a private school.

Congrats to Ms. Flynn though I believe she is overrated and will not do much with college BBall. Just my opinion.

LCA VS. Lex Cath who cares one private school vs another. They should not be allowed to compete with public schools. jmo

Southwestern played the best game of the year against Rock. #24 (salyers?) was unstoppable inside and they busted the three when Rock doubled down. The next night Pyles doubled #24 (salyers?) and SW could not hit the three. She still had 13 and led the team. May need to keep an eye on this lady over the next two years.
