You also could hurt your hand here in the month of Febraury & not be available to your team when needed most - Tournament time! They should be thinking about the team & not showing they can play D1 just because they can dunk.

I spoke to a guy yesterday who was at the Paintsville & APB state championship game in 96'. His question or statement to me was where has all the talent gone to up & down highway 23? He mentioned APB, Boyd, Greenup, Russell specifically. His thoughts were schools thtat size should at least be competitive each year. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think what MSUeagles is saying is that he will put up the Elliott 3 as far as athletes. Plus the athletic ability of SV was definetly not the problem in that game bcause SV did not have better atheltes just better game plan & executed it.

I do not see what puzzles you other than for some reason you are puzzled when someone has a legit point or counterpoint with your comments on EC. I wasn't arguing with you but for some reason you always think when this happens someone on here is arguing with you. Anyway I will make it a little more simple. Coaching - IMO EC always starts each game with at least a 10-12 point deficit. In games like these even more. Throw in coaching during the course of the game & you obviously have to give it to Ballard & Coach Renner. Thank goodness for the Faulkners! The rest of it doesn't need further clarification.

Does anyone think Amber Riddle from Rowan Co will get any consideration? I think she holds the single season & career Home Run record in the state. I know more goes into a good player than that but that alone should put her on the radar for Miss Softball.

That's silly, this is no place to make such comments. I have read all these post & they are just in good fun! All except maybe about getting sick on the roads as we all know that can happen & may just happent to a few. This comment is taking this to a whole differnt level & is simply not the place.

BigSpikes in a head to head match up Ballards competition they play during the course of the season will not be a factor. These kids from EC have played in to many big games throughout their young careers to let something as being battle tested bother them. The Faulkners especially will not be phased at all. What this game comes down to is 3-4 things 1.Coaching 2.Elliott shooting 3.Ballards athletes 4.Timmy Knipp deciding to play hard the whole game & the big thing for him is staying out of fould trouble. also - whether Ballard gets car sick or not, & the bus driver not running off the road.

They may want to plan ahead & hire a new bus driver to take over once they get to Morehead. It will definitely be a trip to remember for the Bruins. I hope the windows roll down or they better bring some brown barf bags.
