  4. How did Dayton lose? I know they were banged up. Did they sit alot of starters to get ready for the playoffs?

  6. Does it matter if it is Texas Road House compared to Frisch's? At Frischs, I usually leave $3, regardless of the bill.
  7. If the coach has rules about missing practice, then he should stick to his rules and not show favoritism. Allowing the kids to play after missing a practice would send the wrong message to the team. Stick to your rules, Coach!!!!!!!:thumb:
  8. I heard that Gallatin has will have several players who will sit the first half because they will be missing a practice to attend an FFA event. Is this correct?
  9. Bellevue (5-4) makes a trip to Gallatin Co (6-2) to play under their new lights. They have one common opponent in Bracken Co. Gallatin won 37-7, and Bellevue puts up a score of 52-8. What are your thoughts?
  10. When you mess with the bull, you get the horns!
  11. I thought Bracken was Blue and White. Oh, you must be looking ahead.
  12. I am not going to accuse Beechwood of running up the score. I feel wholeheartedly that when young kids, 2nd and 3rd teamers get their chance, they should play just as hard as if they were the starters. Which leads me to one question for the Beechwood faithful. I was not at the game but was told that Beechwood did not bring their freshman team. Is this true? Certainly, against a first year team like Brossart, the dominate team in Class A would figure that they would put up enough points to play freshmen.
  13. Nobody is really fine after a mild concussion (reported by many NCC players). Especially young people under 18. That is why the KHSAA has guidlines on this. If the effects last under 15 minutes, then they are encouraged to go home, and rest. If the effects are longer than that or they lose consciousness, then they should see a doctor, which I think is a 7 day hold out. If I were an NCC fan, I would be worried about playing my #1 QB against Bellevue in a non-district game. Why take the chance on a big hit? Not wise on the coaches part!
  14. Enough about Bellevue and Ludlow. This thread is about Dayton and Ludlow.
  15. Why was there no wing on the right side to protect? Why did the end leave on the snap?
  16. Am I mistaking or did Ludlow take advantage of 7 Carroll Co. (or was it Trimble) turnovers? Does that mean that Carroll was the better team and "gave" Ludlow the win? But it is somehow different for Bellevue?
  17. Turnovers ARE a part of the game. Teams can create turnovers by being in the right place at the right time (that is what team practice, film sessions, and 7 on 7 practices are for), stripping the ball, tip drills, shutting down the run and forcing the pass (a ball in the air belongs to anyone), and putting enough pressure on the QB to hurry a throw. So quit bellyaching about Bellevue's fortunes in the turnover department. They won, period!
  18. Great job, Tigers! You played hard and earned it. Now you better get focused on NCC.
