Thanks for correcting me on the coach. But the point being made is the AD not letting a lame duck coach his team. I feel that Florida is letting Billy D. stay on because of the success he brought to them.
Billy D does not have to talk to anyone from UK. He does not have to sell himself as most people do in a job interview. If UK wants him, they make an offer.
TO WHO? his agent (who probably has a law degree). Agents are usually given permission from their clients on the who? what? when? where? and how much? questions. The agent will then call Billy D and say this is what we have going on.
If it is true that Billy has already recieved money, then I agree as posted earlier; The AD from Florida already knows and honoring Billy's wishes to wait until after the tourney is over to announce it.
Remember Steve Fisher from Michigan leaving. Bo Schembeckler (sp) fired him during the tourney. "I want a Michigan guy coaching Michigan". Not every AD has that kind of intestinal fortitude.
Very tough physical game. Bodies were hitting the floor all night. Some not by choice either. The refs tightened it up a little in the second half though after talking to the captains.
A personal attack, now that was rude,
I struck a nerve, now your in a bad mood.
A smokin spouse is what I got,
A clue about football, you have not.
I love my life in every way.
I will not retaliate, HAVE A NICE DAY!
In Dayton, Lickert dropped out,
In single A, the fans will shout.
Last year they earned a playoff berth,
This year, they come back to Earth.
Losing Lickert will be a step back,
It is morale that they now lack.
Good Luck to Steve in his new place,
He'll need it in the tough 5A race.
Paul is a great guy, as most will attest.
From B-town to E-town, he has done his very best.
In college, he was quite the quarterback.
But as a head coach, it is leadership that he lack.
I hope we have not seen the last of Paul Gray.
For him, a job in football is what I will pray.
