The Herald Leader has it 97-78 but if you add up the score it doesn't add up either. I know Cooper had 30.

The game was delayed for several minutes and the score was changed. Then I think the scorer missed a couple baskets but the Cats were up big so nothing was said.

This game was played at Thomas More University part of the 4th Annual Coach Jim Conner Basketball Classic. Senior guard Dillion Greene was named player of the game.

Yes these two played last Wednesday at Bracken and Pendleton won by 10. I am not sure what the score was. Pendleton defeated Bracken this morning at Bourbon County 44-33. Yes the freshman squad is doing very well under Coach McCain. There is much talent in the freshman and sophmore classes at Pendleton. Mason Monroe and Jackson Strong do not play freshman ball.

Monroe and Strong do not play Freshman. PC freshman defeated Bracken again by 11 this morning in the Bourbon Co Freshman Tournament.

Daniels also had two nice break away dunks! I was glad to see Purvis back on the floor playing tonight after sitting out last year with the injury.

The scrappy Wildcats never backed down from this very talented GRC team. Stats for Pendleton were: Monroe 17, Greene 12, Farrell 10, Cooper and Walsh 8, Crozier 5, Woods 2. I definitely think Pendleton will surprise many teams this year. They are very much improved from last year. I thought the freshman Monroe had a nice game and was very poised in running the point while being guarded all night by 6'7" Jaylen Daniels. Asa Crozier was very impressive playing center and battling Zollo and Purvis all night. Greene was pretty much unstoppable on the offensive end. Farrell, Walsh and Cooper put in a solid performance also. I will take tonight's effort on the road against a state top team.

A couple very nice back to back games for freshman Omar Prewitt. Keep strokin the ball Omar!

Didn't they rule Tanner Shotwell ineligible for the same thing last year? He was not allowed to play his sophmore year at Scott County.

I am happy for both of these boys being eligible and that they can play and don't lose a year. I hope to see them both at Rupp in March. :thumb:

Brady Jolly is the most under-rated player in the 10th. And very well could be the best in the 37th District! The boy has got game.

Monroe has not grown any from last year. Still waiting on that growth spurt!

Good win for the Cats. Close game as I expected but could of been a double digit win for the Wildcats! To many missed free throws and turnovers in the end. But the Cats hold on and a W is a W. I thought both freshmen Monroe and McGovney played well specially in the second half. Cooper led the Cats with 15,Green and Farrell 12 apiece and Monroe 6 for the Wildcats.

Hmmm, Now serving crow for all the naysayers that said this wouldn't be close and the Camels were to deep to lose to Pendleton. :dancingpa

The Cats are deep also. Greene is very strong and physical and uses his lower body much like Chuck Hayes. Just ask Ryan Fucci from Tates Creek. So Jolly may be taller but Greene is much stronger. Should be a good one. I don't see this one being a double digit game either way.

^ We shall see, but I won't be surprised. Where is the 39th District at this year? I like this Bracken County team and think they are very underrated.

This game has the makings of a very good game. Some things to watch for that makes this game interesting. Brady Jolley and Dylan Greene matchup. Jordan Smith and Timmy Cooper matchup. And finally summer teammates from Kentucky Elite and two of the top freshmen in the state and the best of Northern Kentucky Nate McGovney and Mason Monroe. Monroe already has a year of varsity experience and ran the point well as an 8th grader last year. Thoughts?

Harrison, Bourbon and Deming ranked and not ranking Pendleton County and Bracken County is crazy. Someone did not do their homework on Pendleton and Bracken. Don't be surprised if both these teams win their districts. Pendleton County and Bracken County will surprise many teams this year.

Mason Monroe was solid and very poised at Rupp yesterday.
