Looks like Prewitt isn't playing like a Freshman. He has had two good games. Glad to see him do so well.

The Indians looked very good tonight. They are really working hard. Nice bounceback game after the Lafayette blowout.

I saw Prewitt play several games this summer on the AAU circuit with The 'Ville which was absolutely loaded with talent including James Quick and Hicks (Shelby County) so there were just a limited amount of shots to go around with all that talent. Omar played well all summer and I thought he would develop into a good player but congratulations to him as he has absolutely exploded out of the gate. It just shows what happens when a talented player gets the opportunities. I want to find that roster and try to keep up with all the players that were on the team. Once again congratulations to Omar.

Omar SR., JR's Dad was an excellent athlete ans of course his Mother Lisa W. Prewitt was a great basketball player at UK. His two sisters starred on Montgomery County Indians during their current streak of 10th region crowns. So it runs in the family. Omar's Dad was the star Quarterback on the 1973 Mt. Sterling Trojan's 9-2 football team his senior year, My Alma Mater.:confused:
