Pendleton Co is better than some thought. Very scrappy team.

Pendleton County hung right with Clark County for most of the first half, but Clark County just had too much firepower in the end.

I definitely think Pendleton will surprise many teams this year. They are very much improved from last year.

 

I thought the freshman Monroe had a nice game and was very poised in running the point

while being guarded all night by 6'7" Jaylen Daniels. Asa Crozier was very impressive playing center and battling Zollo and Purvis all night. Greene was pretty much unstoppable on the offensive end. Farrell, Walsh and Cooper put in a solid performance also. I will take tonight's effort on the road against a state top team.

Do you have #'s for these players? I don't know them by thier names. I agree a great effort by the PC players and yes they will suprise alot of people if they play like they did last night. I was impressed with them.

Why in the world was a 6'7 guy guarding Mason Monroe:eek: That is about a foot difference. Nice to see he put 17 up and with big time competition. Sounds like the rest of the Wildcats are stepping up and playing very hard against formidable opponents.

Travis Purvis is making up for lost time. Purvis scored 18 points in the team’s season-opening rout over North Laurel Tuesday night and has scored 38 points in the Cards’ first two games to open the season. Purvis drained four of his team’s 10 shots from long range in his first home contest in more than year.

 

Vinny Zollo, Jaylen Daniel and Robbie Stenzel followed Purvis with 15 points each. Zollo had 10 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double to open the season.

Does Monroe play freshman ball? Who are some of the freshman players? Was surprised they beat a good Bracken County freshman team this week

Besides Stenzel's 15 points he had 14 assists last night. Great floor leadership from Robbie.:thumb:
