Boys' teams region by region

10th Region

Top teams: 1. Clark Co.; 2. Mason Co.; 3. Scott; 4. Campbell Co.; 5. Bishop Brossart; 6. Harrison Co.; 7. Bourbon Co.; 8. Deming

Top players: 1. Robbie Stenzel, Clark Co.; 2. Vinny Zollo, Clark Co.; 3. Treg Setty, Mason Co.; 4. Kellen Smith, Scott; 5. Kyle King, Deming; 6. Jacob Rieger, Bishop Brossart; 7. Kyle Campbell, Nicholas Co.; 8. Azrey Crisp, Montgomery Co.

Your thoughts?

What about Jared Martin or Malcolm Thomas from Harrison Co. ?

Bourbon being seventh is a joke. I'm a Bourbon County fan, but they were bad last year and lost their top for scorers to graduatioin. Going to be a rough year. Montgomery not being in the top eight is an even bigger joke.

It looks like the 37th district will be strong again this yr with three of the top 5 teams in the region. It's a shame one will not make it to the regional.

NO WAY that Neal Pawsat isn't a top 10 player in the region. I would hope that his injury was taken into account with this list.

I am sure he did. He stated this:

 No. 14 Mason County returns 6-8 junior Treg Setty, but the Royals will miss junior Neal Pawsat while he recovers from surgery after suffering a knee injury in football.

5. Clark County

There's no debate that Clark County has the best all-junior starting lineup in the state, and there's no debate that the Cardinals won't have to wait until next season to contend for the state title. The Cards are relatively young, but they've got experience, size and versatility.

"We should be able to score at all five positions, and rebounding should be a real strength," Coach Scott Humphrey said. Robbie Stenzel (6-4) is as clutch and consistent as any player in the state. Corey Rogers (6-5) is a fierce defensive player. Travis Purvis (6-7) is back after missing last season with a knee injury. Vinny Zollo (6-8) has racheted up his game. And Humphrey said Jaylen Daniel (6-6) has been "the biggest, most pleasant surprise" this summer and pre-season.

GRC is absolutely huge on the blocks and seems to have a nice mix of talent also on the perimeter with Stenzel and Zollo.

We do have alot of height. As coach stated, Jaylan Daniels is a big suprise this year. Look for him to start over Rogers . But having someone with Rogers experience come off the bench is what most teams will be lacking. Also the addition of Purvis is huge. Losing him for the season last year really hurt GRC. Kindred is also a great addition. He is the only Sr on the team.

Harrison, Bourbon and Deming ranked and not ranking Pendleton County and Bracken County is crazy. Someone did not do their homework on Pendleton and Bracken. Don't be surprised if both these teams win their districts.

Pendleton County and Bracken County will surprise many teams this year.

Bracken beating Mason will be a tough one

^ We shall see, but I won't be surprised. Where is the 39th District at this year?

I like this Bracken County team and think they are very underrated.

District will be held at Bracken County

No chance Mason Co will get beat by Bracken Co.

Ever, IMO.

Again, Montgomery flying under the radar! I love it!
