Hard to get to the free throw line when the majority of your possesions are three point attempts. Pulliam has a nice game for a freshman. He played well and kept the breds in it.

I think PC rolls in this one. I look for a big game from Monroe since the Harrison County staff and their players gave him some extra motivation this past November. I think Bonar has a breakout game against Wagner.

StickerMann, Brossart is always a tough adversary for the Wildcats and have our respect for your program. I wish the Mustangs good luck in Richmond and hope you guys rep the 10th well as I know you guys will. Bring back that trophy and championship from the All A and make all of us from the 10th Region proud!

This Pendleton County team is much better than their record indicates. They have struggled early with playing different combinations and playing alot of guys early in the season. This team seems to be finding themselves and is starting to gel and the rotation has gotten smaller. Aaron Bonar is starting to get back into form as he broke a bone in his foot in the last football game of the season. They have lost several close games in regulation, in overtime, double overtime & triple overtime. Yet they have never lost the faith and have stuck together and are working hard and it is beginning to show. But to set the record straight this young team has played 20 games so far and 17 of the 20 have been on the road with just three homes games. Most of their remaining games are at home and their record is pretty good vs other teams in the region. Coach Simms and staff will have the Wildcats primed and ready for tournament time when it matters anyway. It is easier to schedule a lot of home games and easier competition to pad that record for a young team. But that is not the Pendleton County way nor Simms way. The Wildcats will be prepared and ready for the post-season!:thumb:

Handshoe was held scoreless in the 2nd half. Prewitt had 2 threes in the 3rd qtr but was shutout in the fourth quarter. Great defensive effort and execution by the Cats tonight.

Q, I don't have the boxscore but I can give you the unofficial scoring for PC. Monroe 15, Woods 11, Bonar 10, Crozier 9, Antrobus 7, Rering 6, Walsh 5. I do know PC held MC's two threats down below their average. Prewitt had 13, Handshoe 11, not sure of the rest of Montgomery County scoring.

Like I said I had never seen him play till this winter so I am not sure he played on the "summer circuit". At a small school like Augusta he plays frosh, JV and Varsity. I don't know how much he has played in Varsity action. I am guessing he is 6'0" -6'1".

Trust me on this one and no I don't have a dog in this fight. I just know a player & talent when I see one. Maybe some of the Augusta or Bracken faithful can back me up on this kid's skill. I had never seen this kid till this winter and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Like I said....one to keep an eye on.

I have seen all the above play numerous times and they are some of the best in their class no doubt. But one name I will mention that nobody is talking about or may not have seen is a freshman from Augusta named Brent Bach. This kid has some serious game and is a very unselfish player with a very high basketball IQ. Has nice handles, can get to the rim, can create his own shot and has a sweet long range shot. I was really impressed with this young man's game. Augusta is going to be successful for the next three years after this one. He may be an unknown right now but definately one to keep an eye on in the very near future. Bach has Snider handles and a Hatton jumpshot.

Pierre picked up two quick fouls tonight guarding Monroe in the 1st quarter. Monroe led Pendleton in scoring tonight with 12.

Pretty simple AI overlooked and got outplayed by the Panthers period. Coach Kelsch is one of the best & his teams always play hard.

It was the last game in Nicholas Co old Gymnasium. Alot of memories in that gym. Nicholas will open there new gymnasium this Wednesday and am told it is very nice. It will be the home of the 38th district tournament this year.

I would think Junior Jared Rering and Sophmore bigs Ethan Moore or Zach Smith could hold down the post for the Wildcats. The Wildcats definately have depth at the post. This in my opinion is a very deep squad for Coach Simms with alot of options.

Roshown McLeod is nothing more than a dirty AAU street agent and I have witnessed him in action at several AAU tournaments and youth elite camps. No way would I want my son or friends around him. He was let go by IU for a reason! He has his own personal agenda period. You can cross DSR and JB off the IU list for sure and I am not certain that isn't part of his agenda also. He tried his best to get Bud Macke to live with him in Georgia also. He was coaching the Atlanta Celtics AAU team this spring and gave IU and the Adidas May Classic/Indiana Elite organization his final dirty business by telling them till the very day before that he was bringing his team and would pay them when he got there before their first game but did not showup to try and mess their pool play brackets up and basically saying up yours IU if you know what I mean. I wish JB and DSR nothing but success but be very careful who you associate yourself with! McLeod doesn't have these two fine players best interest in mind but only for his own personal agenda. JMO
