What does everyone think? Will Pendleton Co. win it again? or do you think Deming, Harrison, or Nicholas will unseat the Wildcats?

 

Personally, I think Deming stands a chance with the King twins returning and I think Harrison Co.'s youth stands a chance later in the season after gaining some experience. Nicholas Co. will have difficulty replacing Campbell and I believe Washington has returned to Louisville.

Pendleton County should easily win this district. Harrison County is just too young to compete yet. Deming has the best shot at knocking Pendleton off. However, the King twins weren't enough to beat Pendleton when it counted the last three years. I don't see this changing this year.

Not sure about Pendleton Co. easily winning the district?? They lost a good shooter in Cooper and slasher/penetrator in Greene. Deming will be good if both the King's stay healthy... But they have no depth coming off the bench. Don't sell the young Thorobreds short... Will be interesting when they get varsity experience.

How long have the King twins played varisty, seems like they should be in their 20's by now! HAHA

Since 7th or 8th Grade. Quality kids from good family as well. They're finally seniors!

I think this district is going to be very interesting. Pendleton with Monroe and size and depth shuold be the first choice now. I then put the Devils from Deming second. The King Boys are a tough tandem to control in this district. Harrison is young and not physically strong, but will improve as the year goes on. I hear Coach Reitz is looking at playing 9 or 10 kids. Nicholas will be on the outside of this race. They just lost too much. The thing about this district is that I feel the top 3 teams can beat each other any night. No one team rally scares the others. Should make for an interesting season. Has anyone heard the staus of Nicholas' new gym?

A huge key to Pendleton County's success will be the health of Aaron Bonar. He made huge strides in the summer. He's about 6'5, and his athleticism is off the charts. He broke his growth plate in his ankle in Pendleton's last football game of the year, and has yet to practice with the team. This is Pendleton's only true post player, so if he's not healthy, it would be a huge loss for PC.

I would think Junior Jared Rering and Sophmore bigs Ethan Moore or Zach Smith could hold down the post for the Wildcats. The Wildcats definately have depth at the post. This in my opinion is a very deep squad for Coach Simms with alot of options.
