I do too. IMO JBS has more talent than anyone in the region by far.

They can. For exmple calling cheap fouls on star players early in the game will change the outcome significantly. I dont kno what happened in this game because I didnt watch it but the way 14th region refs protect Clark Stepp and Collins I figured the refs would be talked about after the game.

How can Smith be king when he is on the bench? JBS will get the calls.

JBS by 10+. Collins will dominate the paint and if he fouls he dont have to worry about it cause it wont be called.

Powell and Hazard meet in the finals. Powell is the most experienced team in the region, deep bench, top 3 player in region, good guard play, can wear teams down with there style of play. To me they are the favorites to win the region and will.

Both team have huge weaknesses Breathitt is young. Buckhorn has little depth. Buckhorn plays with more passion than any team ive seen play this year. I think its going to be a great game! Buckhorn wins it 54-51.

I was at this game and was very impressed with Buckhorn. They played with alot of passion. They out hustled PCC to every loose ball and just simply wanted it more. IMO PCC was looking past Buckhorn and was thinking about Hazard. Gay and Rice are real! Buckhorn had open shots and knocked them down, they had to shoot over 50% for the game, and PCC played very little defense. On the other hand PCC got few opens shots thanks to Buckhorn pressure defense. Also bad shot selection by the Dores, way to many 3s. Buckhorn has a great shot to win the region if they can stay out of foul trouble. Congrads Buckhorn for the win and to the Dores too on another good season under Coach Holland(maybe the last?).

Hicks is the best player in the region. Without him Hazard would have a losing record.

Buckhorns bench is fairly weak. If PCC gets them in foul trouble then the Horn chances of winning decreases ALOT!!!

These 2 teams are so evenly matched. I think Knott has the edge at the guard positions and that will be the differance in the game. Knott 64-61

John has done a great job at Buckhorn considering were the basketball program was a few years ago. But if i had a vote it would go to Coach Banks because Breathitt County won very games last year and was IMO one of the worsts teams in the region. This year many people think Coach Banks can win the region with this young team

Hard not to pull for Buckhorn but PCC is playing good and there tough at home. PCC 71-62

Wow I did not see this one coming. Good win for LCC.

1.PCC (won 11 of 12, hottest team in region) 2.JBS (most talented team in region imo but have some seriouse problems) 3.Hazard (has best player in region and plays good defense but are in a slump and there really going to miss williams) 4.Powell (most experienced team in region and can light up the scoreboard) 5.Breathitt (young but dangerous) 6.Buckhorn (inconsistant all year but can beat any in the region) 7.Knott (good guard play but needs a consistant inside threat_ 8.LCC (big team but imo they miss Charlie Banks alot) 9.Lee (plays hard and can also beat anyone in region) 10. Cordia (has a horrible record and has had players quit but they can score alot of points fast!)
