I agree.

KCC 62-50

I guess ill be the one to say it again...............Owls by 3.................its MARCH Madness time BABY!!!!!!

GO OWLS!!!!!

Kcc better not overlook the owls, but I still think they are to athletic for the owls. Knott by 15.

Owsley is a scary team for Knott. Very possible for the upset in this one. I'll take Knott by 13.

I haven' seen Knott play this year, but they appear to be playing much better ball lately. But so has Owsley. After unsetting Lee in the first game of the district, they had Powell sweating a little bit until late in the 3rd quarter when their depth and shooting wore the Owls down. Powell had about a 10 point lead with around 2+ minutes remaining in the game, then Owsley was forced to foul and Powell hit all their free throws. But the game was much closer than the final score indicates.

Owsley is playing a bigger line-up now since Jeremy Congeton (6'4) began starting a month ago. Along with his brother, Trey (6'3), and Adam McIntosh (6'3), and Cam Mainous (6'3) off the bench, the Owls have one of the bigger teams they've had in recent years. And the guard play has been much better lately, they have cut down on the turnovers and that has helped.

Knott waxed Owsley a few weeks back in Hindman, but March Madness can get crazy sometimes. Here's hoping the Owls can add another upset to their resume.

Owls by 5.

The Owls are playing great as of late, probably put together there best two overall performances during the district tournament. This play will rollover into region play, but the Owls will fall short, giving KCC the greenlight to the quarterfinals. KCC by 10+.

KCC 64-57.

Knott should win this one easily. Lest we forget, Wolfe county beat the Owls at Owsley. Most folks rank Wolfe as the weakest team in the tournament.

Knott will not win this game easily. I don't see the Patroits being much different from Lee and Powell, and Owsley beat Lee and played Powell tough in the district finals. Owsley did have a terrible game at home against Wolfe, but they also beat Wolfe earlier in the season by double digits.

Owsley's lineup has changed several times over the season, and I think Coach Parrett has finally got the best starting 5, and has them playing with confidence. Whether they can defeat KCC or not is to be determined....the Patroits creamed them a few weeks ago. KCC is the odds on favorite to win, but I don't agree it will be easy.

I think this is a toss up game, KCC could and should win but Owls have been playing solid basketball, talent wise i say KCC is or has as much as any in 14th,seems as they don't get it out of their athletes often but thats way it is with lots of our mountian teams here, getting the kids to realize they have to lace up their SHOES each time they walk on the floor is or seems to be getting much harder for them to realize and coaches to do........My pick is KCC only because of talent.........

KCC in a close one but don't cut the Owls short or it will be an early exit for KCC.
