You're right, Gold Sunrise. But remember, Lee should have beat Owsley, so you never know.

Owsley keeps it close early but Powell pulls away and wins easily. The Owls already did all the damage they can do.

It has been a wonderful week of basketball in Booneville. The hospitality room is second to none and the basketball is as good as one will see in the mountains.

I have spoke with several people this week at the tourney and they have all complimented on the tournament and the hospitality room. Some folks from Estill County told me that this was the best district tournament host school that they had ever been to.
