Can Corbin win the second game because the Green Dragons think they will knock Corbin off in week one? Maybe they can hang 40 up in week 2 because according to the Green it ain't happening in week one?

My guess is they will not be as strong as in years past or Bell wouldn't have scheduled them?

They will not see in the 2nd, 3rd, or any row unless you are on the first!

Unless I am wrong, the packet they gave out during the Principals meeting used 50 as an example? They had to start with some number so why not 50 I guess?

I'll say it again, it will not be as nice a slice as what is being advertised. It will not be something for nothing just wait and see and then we can talk?

Good points but hopefully the people who makes the call will look closer at this deal and read some of the fine print. Check the NO STAFF INVOLVED/ AND THE MONEY --- They play a direct role. Check how the concessions and sales are done and then explain how NO STAFF IS INVOLVED?

Why should Corbin have the little spin off every year from this tourny? I am talking about the restaurants, little stations and things of this nature? I guess my vote would be to stay in the dark ages!

I like the way your thinking and really this is all I am asking for! Just funnin a little les, the arena is really nice but we would like it at our place every now and again! Hopefully, people can see it both ways!

My opinion is that our gym does take the cake but if you don't agree so be it- no big deal or hard feeling! Your second answer is great as far as I am concerned. Sounds good to me!:thumb:

What was told at the meeting was that folding chairs would be placed on the floor WITHOUT ANY ELEVATION? Not perfect by any stretch. Also the first seat in the stands are a long, long way from the action, but the Arena is very nice without a doubt!

Harlan County High school would be a great place to hold the tourny. Hopefully, it will be up to the host school to host it at the Arena or not. I am fine with holding it at the Arena BUT WHEN ITS OUR TURN IT NEEDS TO BE AT HARLAN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. I have also heard many times the check is in the mail but never see it. We shall see it the payout holds true for future years?

Man if that doesn't get the blood pumping you ain't living! 3wishes, post the pictures of the plans for the football stadium if you can. I have heard it is going to be unreal.

I don't understand the thinking behind the schedule but then again what do I know? Everybody always says that playing a tough schedule will benefit you in the long run, but it can and has killed more than one team in the past. For myself it will be interesting to see how this schedule helps/hurts them next year. Only time will tell I guess!

Is this the same Coldiron that Graduated from Cawood High School? Harlan County people are like Converse, they are everywhere! I always wondered were he got off too?

Corbin has been the best team in it several years and didn't win it, so I am guessing someone will beat them again. Who knows who but someone will!

It was when we had the high winds and storms. We drove down there and the gym was black. No power and couldn't play. It wasn't anybody's fault just one of those things!

I think Bell is a better team right now, but hopefully it will be close and Harlan County will have a chance at the end?

The game with Bell that wasn't played was @ Bell, so Harlan County wasn't the team that didn't play. YFI Harlan County drove down that night and was @ the Gym. As far as Whitley, Harlan did have to cancel that one because of sickness. Not enough players to play and had 8 in the hospital? It was bad because it was Whitley's senior night but it was just something that was beyond the Bear's control. Harlan County had another classic they didn't get played because of weather across the mountain and wasn't made up from the school who was putting on the tournament. Add that to the fact that we were already short a couple of games before we even started because we couldn't get anybody to play? Same problems we had in football. Maybe year number 2 will go a little better as far as our schedules!

Noah's bunch was the group that didn't lose a football game in 5th through 9th grade. Didn't lose to many basketball games either so most of them could play. Kind of underachieved in highschool somewhat, maybe because expectations were so high. However, I am thinking as someone stated on here previously that he was in the bunch that had 15 or so sign to play football off the same team. I could be wrong. :thumb:

Tony Morales was probably the best athlete from his bunch. Tim Shack was one of the best to play at Cawood. D-1 talent in anybody's book!

Tinker is funny because if they would of done more than tinker Harlan might of went somewhere but in my opinion it must of been enough to just be rated !st in the state but not make the playoffs if a county kid had to run them to victory. I wasn't the coach but this is what it looked like from an outsider. :ylsuper:
