  1. I would take Lofton. Lofton averages more points, steals, and rebounds than Neitzel. Lofton shoots better from the field and from 3 point range, and he is so clutch, I would much rather have Lofton. Neitzel is tough and a very good point guard, but Lofton is one heck of a shooter and all around basketball player.
  2. Montgomery should be at number 2. 22-8 last season, won the Berea Invitational tournament, and return a lot more than what GRC does.
  3. Hopefully they keep Dunn and Griffey and can pick up some pitching in the off season.
  4. I think signing him to that contract was the smartest thing they have done in a long time. Have you not seen Ichiro's stats? In 7 years the guys lowest batting avg is .303, his least amount of hits has been 206. As a lead off hitter he has close to 400 rbi, and over 65 homeruns. Ichiro is one of the best players in baseball, and he will be for some more years to come. In 7 years he already has over 1,400 hits. Pete Rose had just 1,004 hits through his first 7 seasons. Cobb had just little over 1,300 through his first 7 seasons. If Ichiro hadnt came into the Majors at such a late age, he would get 4,000 hits easily if he kept this up.
  5. The Reds shouldnt lose 100 games, but it looks like they very easily could, which is sad.
  6. Lets hope not, the Reds cant let go of .283 avg, 23 homeruns and close to 60 rbi. Lets hope the Reds can pick up win number 40 in Atlanta.
  7. Livingston is 1-0 this year and on his career. In 12 innings he has gave up 17 hits, 5 runs, but 4 ER, his career ERA is 18.00. Also just one strikeout in those 12 innings. In his last start, going 6.2 innings with 7 hits, 1 run but no earned, with no K's, is pretty good. Hopefully the Reds bats will wake up and help him out some
  8. Looks like 10,000 will come tonight, there down 10-0 in the top of the 8th right now.
  9. Nooo way. I know he does K up a lot, but still. The guys batting average is over .260, leads the team in homeruns, 2 on the team in rbi's, is second to Griffey in walks. His obp is 5th on the team, 2nd on the team in runs only to Phillips. He ranks 3rd on the team in hits, and is tied for 3 with Phillips for doubles. I wouldnt let him go, the Reds have a lot more problems than Dunn. I would keep him for sure.
  10. Trade away 3 players with over a .260 batting avg, trade away over 50 homeruns, trade away over 150 RBI,over 130 runs scored, and trade away over 225 hits. And A-Rods contract, wow, nooo way. I wouldnt do it.
  11. Iverson averaged over 24 points a game this year, in 50 games with Denver, and over 7 assists. Thats more points per game than Billups, Kidd, Parker, and McGrady. Iverson isnt the same player he use to be 5 and 6 years ago, but he is still among the best guards in the NBA. The Nuggets won more games with Iverson this year than without.
  12. Griffey in his prime, he was insane. I would for sure take Griffey over Bonds or A-Rod, if Griffey could have stayed health in Cincinnati, he would have over 700 homeruns by now.
  13. so you would trade off a .274 batting avg and a .947 fielding pct? Edwin has to stay. A trade for Dunn for good pitching would help, with moving Hopper to left, Hamilton center and Griffey in right.
  14. so you would put Rose Hill, who didnt even make it to there region tournament last year, ahead of a team who went to the state tournament? and returned pretty much everyone?
  15. I wouldnt put Rose Hill in there. Coming off a 18-6 season, with there best win against Lexington Christian, they really didnt do anything big last season at all, they lost there first game in the district tournament by double digits to 15-14 Boyd County. Every one of there losses were by double digits. Elliot should be in there.
  16. JBS played pretty well, they beat a good Fern Creek team, and a good Cawood team. JBS made it to the semi finals where they lost to Scott County 74-71. Last year Scott County beat JBS in the same tournament by over 60 points. JBS was down by 15 at halftime and 17 at the start of the 2nd half. They came back and tied the game at 70, but couldnt come any closer than that. If JBS can put together a whole game like the second half, they could be very very good, i see them making it back to Rupp, and making some serious noise.
  17. Exactly, the Cavs beat the Spurs two times this year. The Cavs are for real, and I wouldnt be shocked if they didnt beat the Spurs in 6 or 7. The Spurs has noone to stop LeBron, Bowen wont even think about it. He will go off.
  18. So Tim Duncan is better than Jerry West? Pistol Pete? Elgin Baylor?Hakeem Olajuwon?Rick Barry? George Miken? I dont think so.
  19. Jordans 63 againts the Celtics. Magic Johnson filling in for Kareem. Lebron went off, but I wouldnt rank it as high as with Jordan and Magic. Magics came in the finals, and Jordan put 63 on one of the best teams of that decade.
  20. True, but if Duncan didnt have Robinson, would he have won a championship? or without Parker? or Manu?
  21. Look who Duncan has around him though. Manu, Tony Parker, Bruce Bowen, and veteran leadership from Robert Horry. Look who Kobe has, other than Odom, not a lot, Smush Parker, but he doesnt even compare to Tony. And Luke Walton doesnt come close to Manu either.
  22. Kobe Bryant. He has won 3 championships, while avg. more points, and more ast. than Duncan.
