of course this is a good win, but Wolfe is 3-10, 3-11 now i guess? so not really a team to compete for the region title, but Breathitt does have a very good chance, we will see how good they match up with JBS, they play in just a couple of weeks

Here is how I think it should look 1. June Buchanan(10-3, only 3 losses, from 3 teams that have been in the top 15 in the state) 2. Breathitt(14-1, good record, 57-56 win over Hazard) 3. Hazard(10-3), wins over Shelby Valley, and Madison Central) 4. Perry(8-4,wins over Knott and Leslie) 5. Powell(9-6, wins over Belfry, Cumberland, and Lee Co.) 6. Buckhorn(8-6, won the MHS tourney, and won 3 games in Florida) 7. Knott(3-7, 57-56 win over LCC, lost 7 in a row, but to some good teams) 8. Letcher Central(6-9, wins over Lee, and Leslie) 9. Lee(8-6,win over Estill, should be here from a 54-53 loss to 3-10 Wolfe) 10. Estill(9-8, 9 point win over Leslie County)

Stepp will go off, he wont be stopped, Cox will do what he wants, and Collins should do good as well, JBS-63 Hazard-54

South Laurel should win this game, ill say Laurel by 8

Scott County-68 Mason County-63

how about the 30-5 Antwan Barbour led E-Town state championship team of 2000? and the 32-3 1998 state champs Scott County, and 05 champs South Laurel, they went 32-4, and the defending state champs Jeffersontown, Ware and Coleman owned together, they went 32-3

I know this thread is about high school gym's, but playing and watching in the Expo Center, is awesome, its so nice, but for high school, my fav's would be Hazard's Memorial Gym, Perry Central,Knott Central,and Scott County

I dont think they would beat them too bad, but what about the Chris Lofton led team in 04 that got upset against Warren Central, that WC team was tough, they could cause trouble for HH

well I mean i didnt say, South Laurel sucks now, they lost 3 straight,i said to out of state teams, Laurel is still the best team in the mountains of course, and one of the best in the state

I think they should take Powell County's spot

hey, a 30 point loss from a team that just a couple of weeks ago was #2 in the country, isnt to bad

I believe, not 100 percent sure, but i think Stepp had around 30, I know he was shooting well from the 3 point line, and Cox hit some nice 3's as well, good game all around

dont see how Paintsville is so high, they are 8-4, and with really no good wins against in state teams, should switch Paintsville to #8, and move 6,7 and 8 up, Laurel has lost 3 straight, but all to out of state teams

JBS, 9-3, Stepp and Cox are one of the best, if not the best guard combo's in the state, and with Collins in the middle, they are going to be hard to beat come tournament time, and with the WYMT and the all A coming up, they should prove to alot of people that they are not a joke.
