  1. No, he doesnt have to get 30 for JBS to win, but of course they need him and Cox both scoring big, in there 69-59 win against Magoffin County this year Stepp had 40, and Cox just had 1. Stepp had around 14-16 in the WYMT championship game, and they still beat Bell. But Stepp had 8 against Hazard in the All A, and JBS got beat by 16. Stepp does need to score, and so does Cox, or its going to be very hard for JBS to win games, but its the same way at Hazard with Hicks, at Cordia with Hurt, at Knott with Mosley, and at Perry with Bailey, but of course every team needs there big time players to have big games, or it is going to be hard to win.
  2. top 10 in order 1. Clark Stepp 2. Justin Hicks 3. Tate Cox 4. Ryan Romans 5. Tyler Bailey 6. Zach Hurt 7. Scott Mosley 8. Zach Gay 9. Jason Kelly 10. Hollon

  4. yeah, thats true, but you cant win every game, it seems when JBS gets beat, everyone goes wild, JBS is still the best IMO, in the region, but its going to be a wild tourney, Powell, Perry, Hazard, Lee, Buckhorn, Knott, all of these teams could win the region, but my pick is still JBS, they have beaten Hazard, Breathitt, Buckhorn, and Knott two times.
  5. June Buchanan IMO, they are 22-5, beat Breathitt, and they have beaten Hazard too.
  6. The region is wide open, who will win the region? with Breathitt, JBS, Hazard,Perry, Powell, Lee, Estill, and teams like Cordia, Knott and Letcher.
  7. 1. South Laurel 2. Paintsville 3. Bell County 4. Shelby Valley 5. Clay County 6. June Buchanan 7. Breathitt County 8. Perry Central 9. Corbin 10. Cumberland
  8. 1. June Buchanan(20-5)- They did fall to Perry and Hazard, but they also did beat Hazard, and Bell County, and a Pendleton County team who beat the All A state champs Bishop Brossart, they are 8-0 in district play, and 13-2 in the region. 2. Hazard(18-7)- Did beat JBS by 16, and Perry 2 times, they also beat Lafayette and Madison Central. 3. Perry Central(15-7)- Beat JBS, and Hazard, and Pikeville, and Johnson Central. 4. Breathitt County(20-2)- Best record in the region, with probaly one of the weakest schedules, they did beat Hazard at Hazard, and Knott at Knott. 5. Powell County(16-8)- They did beat Hazard, Lee County, Estill County, and Cumberland. They have won 7 in a row, and they are 7-2 in region play. 6. Buckhorn(14-8)- Gave JBS a heck of a game, they did beat Leslie twice, and Knott once. 7. Letcher County Central(12-11)- Gave JBS a game at JBS, beat Knott in double OT. They also have wins against Knott, Lee County and Leslie County. 8. Lee County(13-9)- Wins over Powell County, Knott Central,Buckhorn, Estill County, and a good 13-8 Barbourville. 9. Knott County Central(8-13)- Wins at Leslie, at Cordia, at Powell, and at home against Letcher Central. 10. Leslie County(7-17)- Wins over Perry Central,Pikeville and Owsley County. Thats just how I see it.
  9. Bardstown is 13-5, with wins over 14-8 Hart County, and 12-7 John Hardin, they also beat a very good 14-4 Anderson County. As for Paintsville, they are 15-6,15-5 Bryan Station only beat them by 7, and Henry Clay beat them by 10, and of course there 1 point loss to South Laurel, Paintsville did loose to 10-9 Russellville, but Bardstown seen a loss to 10-10 Hancock County, but I will take Paintsville in this one. Paintsville-71 Bardstown-63
  10. Jackson City isnt the worst team in the 14th region, no way, sure they are not like last years region runner up, and there record isnt the best at 6-13, but they are not, the worst team in the 14th region, and they havnt beat any good teams this year? they beat Allen Central, who is 14-5, a good 11-11Magoffin County team just beat them by 4, Lee County, who is a very solid team, just beat them by 2,they beat a very good Estill County team, and a very solid Leslie County team only beat them by 3, JBS made 20 of 26 shots in the first half, they didnt hit hardly anything in the 2nd half, JBS scored 59 points in the first half, and 25 in the second, Jackson City is a good team, and not the worst in the 14th region.
  11. that doesnt mean anything, Paul Dunbar killed Hazard, by 43 points, and Dunbar beat Shelby Valley, by 10, the same SV team that Hazard beat, JBS will beat Breathitt, thats just what I think.
  12. thats actualy nothing like that, everyone thinks Breathitt is the greatest team in the state, since they are 18-2 with one of the weakest schedules in the region, Knott can, and actualy should win this game.
  13. I am a JBS fan, not many people are, but if you were there tonight, you would have seen a COMPLETELY different team, than in the 5th 3rd, and in the All A, they scored 59 points at half time, against a team who is just 6-13, but they did beat a very good 14-5 Allen Central team, and they also beat Estill County, East Ridge beat them by 3, and Leslie County beat them by 2, they are a pretty good team, its just there record doesnt show it.
  14. Breathitt is good, but not the best team in the region, they did beat Hazard, but thats about it, Letcher beat them double digits without there best player, but anything can happen, but IMO JBS should come out of the region
  15. I think Clint had 3 three's, and Stepp had around 15-20, and Cox around the same as Stepp, he hit some big three's.
  16. They went 20-26 in the first half, scoring 59 points, JBS could have beat any team in the region by double digits tonight, I hope this play keeps up, JBS needed to have this play last week, in the All A, they should have been playing Somerset tonight, but your right, amazing game from JBS, lets hope they keep playing like this.
  17. Powell should not be in the top 5, they shoul be around 7-8, or 9, Knott blew them out
  18. Central Hardin is 19-1, but they dont have any good wins, they beat E-Town, and thats about it, IMO Lexington Catholic should be in that top 10
  19. ever since the WYMT JBS is somewhat, falling apart, or something, but a good win in this game, and with Taylor, JBS still would have won this game, IMO, Cox should take around 12-15 shots a game, if not more, he only gets about 14 points a game, when he should be getting around 20-24, but he will come along, and play like he always does.
  20. Jeff Brookes Darius Miller Novasel( I think thats right, from Catholic) Ty Profitt Jon Vanhoose
  21. I doubt anyone will transfer, seriously, and Clark's a good player, who wouldnt want him taking big shots, I sure know I would, JBS will not get beat by Breathitt, noone is able to stop Stepp, Cox or Collins, and the Hazard game, was good for them, they will be a different team come tourney time, and hey, dont forget JBS drilled Letcher, and Letcher beat your "amazing Breathitt County team", but JBS had Hazard down by 19, and won by 9, its hard to play the same team, more than once, especialy a very good expereinced team, Hazard did play at Rupp last year, and they have alot, they did win the All A state championship just a couple years ago, JBS has been a school since the late 1980's, Hazard has been a school for a lot longer time than June Buchanan
