  1. But look at there starting running back, wide recievers, and qb.
  2. 19-9 regular season, 1-1 sec, 1-1 NCAA tournament, 21-11.
  3. The T-Wolves get Al Jefferson- 69 games, 16.0 ppg, 6.9 rpg, and a 51.4 field goal percentage. Theo Ratliff- 2 games, 2.5 ppg, career 49% field goal percentage, and 8.0 ppg. Gerald Green- 81 games, 10.4 ppg, and a 42 field goal percentage. Sebastian Telfair- 78 games, 6.1 ppg, 3.2 ast. Boston is getting a career 20 and 10 guy in Garnett and they will be better than last season. I see them winning around 38-44 games atleast and they SHOULD, make the playoffs. But the T-Wolves didnt get a pretty bad deal, and plus that 1st round draft pick could help out Minnesota a lot too.
  4. ND has a very tough, tough schedule, through there first 8 games they may be 2-6, or maybe 3-5.
  5. Of course, with or without the streak. Anyone who can have over 3,000 hits and over 400 homeruns (especially at shortstop) deserves to be in the Hall.
  6. Looks good. Henry was a good reciever, McNeal could step in and be as good as Henry was last season. Irons as one of the backup tail back's will be good help to get some pressure off Rudi. They should do alright this year, 9-11 wins I think.
  7. True, either him or Barnes. He is going to be one heck of a coach, but you cant really put him as the #2 coach in the SEC without even playing a game.
  8. No, Lofton missed 4 games last year and Tennessee went 1-3 in those 4 games. They lost to Ole Miss 69-83, Kentucky 57-76, and Florida 78-94. The one game they did win was against Georgia 82-71. Lofton makes a HUGE difference for Tennessee but every player like Lofton makes a HUGE difference on any team. Tennessee was young last year as well. Now they have that expericence with playing with Ohio State as good as they did, not one time but two times, they should be alright this year if Lofton was to go down. Of course they wont go to the national championship game, but if any team lost there big time player ( Kentucky-Bradley or Patterson, North Carolina- Hansbrough, Michigan State- Nietzel) it would be really hard to be as good as you were with him.
  9. Im not complaining man im just saying. Teams like Boise State last year, and Utah when Smith was the quaterback, yeah they did play in some pretty big bowl games but they went through the season without getting beat, while Florida, lost 1 game, but played in the championship. I know Florida is in a WAY bigger and better confrence than them, but still. A playoff wouldnt have people wondering what if Boise had got to play Florida, or what if Oklahoma had got to play Ohio State. Look at the NCAA basketball tournament, all the up set's, people love that and in college football people really love when a team like Boise State or Utah comes out of no where and beats a national powerhouse like Oklahmoa.
  10. I was looking around and I didnt really see any threads about how these two teams will do next year. So how do you guys think they will do? wins? SEC and Big East tourneys, NCAA tournament.
  11. BCS is such a joke. I know we have all heard it before, but a playoff would be amazing. Not a short 8-12 team playoff, get a 16 team playoff, or maybe more. Think of the up set's. It would be amazing.
  12. I wouldn't have Gillispie anywhere near the top spot. He is a good coach but he is yet to play a game in the SEC.
  13. I know, im just saying they are on there way to becoming a national contender.
  14. Well, they have been on a pretty good run on the last couple of years. The year before Pearl came Tennessee the Vols went 14-17 and of course missed the NCAA Tournament. In Pearl's first season he leaded the Vol's to 8 more wins then what they had to year before, and got the Vol's a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Vol's did get knocked out in the 2nd round but still, better than what they had done the year before. And last year the Vol's posted a 24-11 record and a trip to the sweet sixteen. They lost to Ohio State(who went on to play in the national championship game) by only one point. They havnen't made a run at a championship, but they are starting to build the team up. With the right draw in this years tournament, if the Vol's could grab a 3-5 seed, you never know what could happen.
  15. Pearl is a pretty good coach. When Lofton does leave, that doesnt mean Tennessee will be on the bubble every year. Pearl can recruit, and he will bring in some pretty good players and Tennessee will be as good as ever. Look what his UW Milwaukee and Southern Indiana teams did.
  16. Probaly one of the only other few states would be Califronia. Not hating on Brohm or Woodson, just saying. Last year Brohm and Woodson combined for 6,200 yards passing, 47 passing td's, 12 int, and combined to win 20 games. Booty and Longshore passed for a combined 6,368 yards, 53 td's, 22 int, and combined to win 21 games.
  17. True, there stats are not the best, but who else can the Reds go after? Would they pay over 100 million for Zambrano? Or how about over 50 million on Jason Jennings? Arroyo's record was 33-33 when he came to Cincinnati. Lohse's was 51-63. Milton's, 60-57. Garcia has won 15 or more games 4 times in his career. He has had over 100 strikeouts in 7 of his seasons, and last year he went 17-9. His career era isnt to bad at 4.07. Clements career record isn't the best, but in 2002 he had over 200 strikeouts. Benson had 184 strikeouts in 2000. These guys are not big name players, but could help the Reds out. Garcia isn't done, and Clement isn't either.
  18. LaRussa knows how to win, why wouldn't you want him in Cincinnati? He has won over 2,000 games as a manager, which is 3rd all time. One of only two managers to ever win a World Series in both the AL and NL. Why wouldn't you want him. And plus if he did come, maybe he could work it out that Pujols came with him? You never know.
  19. Lets hope so. I could see the Reds spending some money on Freddy Garcia, he could help us out a lot. Matt Clement would be a good fit, and so would Kris Benson. Not big name players but could come in and have pretty good years. But lets just hope the Reds get out and go shopping this off season, we could use some big time players.
  20. A lot of good players that the Reds could sign in there.
