That's who started all summer. Swift, Hunter, Hornbuckle, and Withrow are probably going to be the reserves. They had several talk about coming back out in the fall that will help with depth. So we'll have to wait and see. Good Luck boys.

I will say that the only team to be "dominate" in the 16th will be Elliott Co.. As for the rest, its going to be who is on for that night. Ashland, East, Fairview, Rose Hill, Greenup Co., Bath Co., maybe Rowan and Fleming...

You can leave Brock off, he is the new assistant principal at Blazer. I would hope that they would give Rick Griffith the chance. He has been the one with them this summer.

They finished 17-8 with four of the loses either at the buzzer or with a shot to win at the buzzer. Not to bad.

As for the pink slip issue, hasn't he been there long enough to have tenure with his teaching position? Coaches are yearly contracts, but traditionally don't get pink slipped unless its for no other reason than they are actually not going to be back.

I've heard of coaches in some schools making close to 15,000 with package deals dealing with radio, camp, and salary.

Its posted on their school website as of March 25th.

Did any of these teach at Rose Hill? How do these other private schools keep coaches and have them teach in their school?

I was just thinking.. I know about Jeff Hall, Tim Fraley, Mike Polley, Ed Jenkins, but who were the other coaches at Rose Hill though the years?

We don't? How about fall break, spring break, Christmas break, three days at Thanksgiving? Most consider this time paid vacation. We still get money, even though we aren't in the class room. I don't consider summer, because some schools pay for the year before the school year ends.

I think Rose Hill and Greenup will be top ten. I don't know about West Carter being that high. They lose alot. I know the freshman player was really good, but I don't remember any support.
