  1. They have 4. Hayden Molitor, Brent Christenson, James Viox & Sergio Guiterriez
  2. It was what we expected, an all out war. Similar to what you will see Friday night with Grant/SK. Went back & forth for a while before Grant pulled away. Walton was able to chip away at the 12 point lead and cut it to 6 which was the game difference. Townsend hit a couple of 3's in the 4th to cut the lead, but Grant pulled it out. Zach Clinkenbeard led all scorers with 16 for Walton. I believe it was Seth Adkins with 15 for GRT. "SOME OFFICIALS (COLDIRON, MORRIS) NEED TO WORRY MORE ABOUT REFFING THE GAME AND CARE LESS ABOUT PEOPLE LOOKING AT THEM. WE DID NOT COME TO SEE YOU. WE CAME TO WATCH A "BASKETBALL" GAME!" On the officials note, you have to realize that these guys have been calling these games for years in the region. They will know a lot of people in all of the schools. I didn't see the "showboating" that you are inferring with your comment KIR last night. They do talk to folks, but actually, I think the game, although a a bit rough, was ok. The girls game was a bit worse with some blatent missed calls there.
  3. Played sporatically and came off court in tears at one point. Hopefully, nothing lingering.
  4. Tonight's game with Walton & Williamstown could also be an upset. Saw Williamstown last regular season game and Montgomery and Kennedy lighting it up. Sydney Taylor doing work underneath. They will have to deal with Ison inside and Mills from outside. Should be a good one tonight.
  5. Jordan Allen and Karlyn McCoy. They were recognized before the game. We have their senior night celebration at the beginning of our game video from last night.
  6. We had seen Williamstown 3 times including last night and saw for the first time Brady Montgomery. Have to think brother to Rachael. He hit 2 NBA three pointers for the Demons in the second half. Another Demon freshman.
  7. same as before. As for the draw, From Gary Huhn @ Holmes: Tentative plans: If everyone finishes their districts on or before Friday night, we will have the girls' draw at 9:00 A.M. Saturday in the Hartman Room at Holmes and the boys' draw at 10:00 A. M. The Hartman Room is the room off of the concession area where we normally meet. If a district does not finish the boys' tournament on Friday (I think all of the districts are finishing the girls' tournaments first), then we will have the boys, draw on Sunday. Pray for no snow.
  8. Mullins was a machine underneath tonight. When not scoring on his own, cleaned up the 2nd and 3rd chances. Really love his game. Fries also had a great game for the Pioneers. At times, they had trouble with Jump and Stanley's speed. A number of times down the floor, Jump was able to wind his way in and get layups. I said this on the broadcast and it bears repeating, if this Williamstown group stays together and continues to improve, they will be in the hunt for New Castle in the next couple of years. You don't see such a strong back court as what the demons have with Jump and Stanley. If the front court continues to develop, they'll challenge for a district title.
  9. We'll have the semifinal matchup between Walton-Verona & Grant County immediately following the Girls semifinal game. Pregame around 8:00pm. Here is the broadcast link: LiveSportsCaster.com Does Grant County head to the finals to defend the championship against Simon Kenton or do the Bearcats take the win and look for a District Title? Thoughts?
  10. We'll have tonight's 32nd district semifinal matchup with Walton-Verona taking on Williamstown. Pregame at 5:30 from Simon Kenton. Broadcast Link: LiveSportsCaster.com Williamstown has never defeated Walton-Verona. Does that change tonight? Thoughts?
  11. We'll have the 32nd district semifinal between Simon Kenton & Williamstown immediately after the girls game. Around 8pm. Here is the broadcast link: LiveSportscaster.com Thoughts?

  14. With all of this weather and games getting cancelled, so many seniors didn't get their senior nights in. Happy for those who did, but for those who didn't don't think that your accomplishments and your 4 years have been forgotten. You have provided all of us with great times over your tenure. Thank you for giving all of us your best. Our best wishes as you continue with your game at the next level, or your next steps in life after graduation. THANK YOU!! BGP, maybe some memories of this years senior class that you remember??
  15. I really like the show. So interesting to see the interaction of the characters. Last week's Riddler/Penguin staredown was great. It will be interesting to see the way they continue to write the story.
